Norwood police officer unharmed after cruiser crashes into a pole due to icy road, police say
A Norwood police officer escaped injury early today when he lost control of his cruiser on an icy road and slid into a pole, Norwood Police spokesman Kevin Grasso said.

I assume that this accident will stand in the way of this lawman getting his stipend for safe driving.
A single car accident is always cause for concern. In this case; first we heard the story that a mysterious driver going in the opposite direction was driving straight at this blueboy. And, that this blueboy had no choice but to drive off the road. Now, we read how icy conditions were the cause.
I hope that a blood test was performed to check for either alcohol or drugs in this lawman's system. The same thing that would be done for John Doe or Jane Doe.
This whole mess seems suspicious as hell to me. We all know that the cops have a habit of sweeping messes under the rug when the mess involves one of their own.
