I drove Estes Park to Denver via Boulder and back yesterday (12-5-13). The drive was really not bad at all; just a little slick in spots. I'm really trying hard to understand what is so "extreme" about the weather and the driving conditions, to use Nancy Stevens' word. How can two people who went to school in Boulder find some snow to be reason to cancel a concert? And how can typical winter weather be called "extreme?"
Something strange going on here.
