Dont you just LOVE climate mode#3.

Same switch from the inefficient mode#2 with fixed seasonal monsoonal flows to non seasonal E travelling monsoonal roots and formation of El Nino hot pools backed up against the W. coastlines of continents in April 2012... Has produced the weak pulsating Indian monsoon, the USA drought, the NW.Europe & recent S. African floods, and S. American strong spring storms. Also resulted in the strong flooding in Japan & China via a monsoonal flow which overtopped the Himalayas.

Result locally is an El Nino type hot pool backed up against W.Africa resulting in the Atlantic hurricane season being Atlantic rather than Caribbean this season.

Future will in USA be a weak El Nino, rather more nor'easters than usual and occasional ice storms. Results also in rather lively winter weather on our side of the pond.

Will also result in wacky summer floods and occasional drought in typical El Nino drought areas in S. Hemisphere.

Being more efficent at cooling the planet then mode#2, mode#3 will result in a cooler equator and warmer poles with rather a lot of rain in the temperate rainbelt.

The climate mode change from mode#2 to #3 did affect the track of Sandy (which lived up to its name on the NE coast sub new York barrier islands).

Have a nice day: Ag
