WOW, all that without Congress!
So the badly needed disaster aid IS already available!
Has it all been spent?
Declaring a state of emergency does that.

$3.6 billion and been there since day one.

I .don't know

I'll review it and see.

I don't find too many of my responses that were unjustified given the comment made.

Others might and do.

Funny how even the GOP blames Boner for sitting on this bill.

Obama had not a damn thing to do with Boner flubbing yet another bill.

I find it strange that he got re elected by his own party.

RustyS.

I agree. New York and New Jersey White "Liberals" chose not to insure their improvidently built homes and businesses because the premiums were too high. Now they moan and groan that the overburdened taxpayer should be responsible to cover their losses. This is unconscionable.

With millions of taxpayer supported little African babies going to bed hungry every night, how can they even think of such a thing? White "Liberal" greed is one thing. Taking food from the mouths of little starving African babies is quite another.

Have the greedy self-serving White "Liberals" no shame, at long last, Sir?

Of course Americans with access to news and newspapers know it was Boner's failures.

Especially since the biggest criticism has come from his own party.

I guess things only look bade for Boner if you understand that he was the one who was supposed to get the check to the hurricane victims...

"My kind" enjoys pointing out sanctimonious hypocrites in a bipartisan manner.
The fact that most ARE Democrats is most likely evidence of the kind of selective outrage they are known for.
Regardless, the national narrative has been, and still is, that post Katrina problems were all Bush's fault. Nagin and Blanco do their jobs, and we likely never hear of Brownie!
Funny how the locals down there know better, they mainly blame Nagin..........but they saw the incompetence everyday.
Not so much pointing out hypocrites as imagining them, I'd say. Unless you have some evidence about those blaming Bush for Katrina v. those blaming Obama for this disaster.

Personally, I've heard almost NO one blame Obama for this disaster, or honestly claim he wasn't doing what he could to fastrack aid to the area. Almost EVERYONE blames Congress, especially Boehner and Repubs in the House.

So why make a big fuss about Katrina?

Because you can pretend there's "hypocrisy" there which in reality doesn't exist.

Tiresome, really. Why not just call up your Republican congressman and demand action, instead? Why not just e-mail Boehner's office?

Say the Truth.

You could be right. Like most other overburdened taxpayers of good-will, I choose not to pass judgement, but many of our fellows within the non-racist community note that, as long as starving African "youth" and their taxpayer supported African Baby Mommas are going to bed hungry, it would be racist to divert their taxpayer provided support money into the pockets of greedy New York and New Jersey White "Liberals".

Only if it was done in an obviously racist way, of course. But nice strawman, anyway.

If you think Obama's to blame for something, say so and prove it. Or STFU.

It's pathetic and disgusting that you're such an obvious racist, Ronnie, but what's even more pathetic is that you don't even have the guts to admit it.

You pretend to be in the "non-racist community" and then make obviously racist statements about black people...apparently African-Americans, although you insist on referring to them as "Africans."

Ask your local Grand Dragon to give you back your balls, then perhaps you'll be able to stand up proudly and admit your own racist beliefs in public. At least then you wouldn't feel so unmanly, right?:)

I would never do that; I'm afraid of being labeled a racist just for being critical of our Lord and Savior...in fact I voted for him multiple times so I could say I'm not a racist.

Don't be afraid to voice your opinions today, even if you suspect that they aren't what everyone is expecting to hear. It's important to speak your mind, and there's no need to worry about treading on anyone's toes or sounding outrageous because that isn't very likely at all. If you're talking to someone, your conversation may take an unconventional turn that you weren't expecting.
