I think farmer Schultz is nuts, but it never hurts to have a good snow shovel.

hmmm... if it's snowing pig spleens, it WILL be a nasty winter. all I can tell you is I caught a regular parade of wooly bears marching along the foundation three weeks ago, looking for a place to hole up... and they had normal coats. and earmuffs. and little pocket flasks, if that means anything.

Unlike most years, my cats are actually shedding as though it was March. I choose to explain that as it's going to be mild winter....

Interesting you should bring that up...more of the same anecdotal evidence here. In the past week or so, both of my cats have been sheeding an unusual amount of hair. I attributed it to possibly the beavers coming up out of the river and stressing them out at night...but who knows??

Reading pig spleens isn't an exact science...then again, neither is meteorology..

Well, it does predict a bad autumn for the pigs, that's for sure.

Daily Horoscope for November 22

Aries

Teamwork is the key word today; you can be an effective leader by listening to what the group has to say. Aries is a natural leader and pioneer, but often forgets to include others in the planning stage: with combative Mars in your house of associates, you are forced to co-operate with others. You may disagree with the majority but you'll need to find some common ground.
