I think it will stick even without direct Russian involvement. Kiev dug its own grave when they needlessly slaughtered all those people last week. But they do not understand the dynamics. They are fascist thugs who think violence always win. Violence will not win the hearts of the people in Eastern Ukraine. All it will do is provoke them to fight harder.

Interesting how only you and some of the East Ukranian proRussian protesters talk about this phantom violence that is ongoing in Kiev, I wonder why that is dipshit???

They should declare independence. Who would want to live with western fascist mongrels? Half their budget would be wasted on tick and bug spray and the other half on rodenticides if they stayed in Ukraine now.

They probably have room for only one (given) opinion and there simply isn't anymore room in their small minds. Or then the elevator doesn't go to the top ;)

Everyone knows what will happen if Fascist Russia gets their claws in Ukraine:

Mass migration of Russians, mass murder of the original population and the rest of the original population would serve as 2nd rate citizens to Fascists from Russia.

Putler thinks he has it all played out, he doesn't understand that he is not dealing with Kim Joong from North Korea and since he is living in his own sick world where he is the center, he has no clue how non-psychos think and act.

Russia is dying since Putler will drag everyone else with him when he falls.

Here are the top ten achievements of Vladimir Putin so far in Ukraine, following close on the heels of his invaluable assistance in helping Victor Yanukovich out of power:

10. Kremlin websites downed in DDOS cyber attacks.

9. Putin exposed before the world as maniacal mental case.

8. Precedent set for autonomous regions to vote themselves out of Russia.

7. Ukraine shows the world what patriotism really means.

6. Russia stock market a smoking ruin, reserves and ruble plummeting, inflation soaring.

5. Russophobia permanently and totally validated.

4. John McCain in the Maidan.

3. Prospects for NATO membership of Georgia and Ukraine vastly increased.

2. Russia Today totally and permanently discredited.

1. Europe galvanized against Russia as common foe.

Is this what you call phantom violence by neo nazi fascists like you in Odessa?

The Odessa Massacre. What really happened. Your govt, cozy with neo nazi fascists that murdered Ukranian citizens in Odessa in the Trade Union building. A member of the left wing feminist extremest group FEMEN is standing before the burning building topless. She should be charged as an accessory to murder. What side is the lame stream media reporting? The murderous thugs of course.
Where's the outrage? Where's the justice?

I think Veterans Today has you beat on this one.
But you sure do window dress the massacre that went on in Odessa well.
The western Zionist run media planted it as pro Russians shooting at the building and setting it on fire.
But OH! What's this? Just the exact opposite. It shows a police head in Odessa with many men wearing orange arm bands to give the appearance as being Russian protesters.
Liar liar pants on fire.
That left wing extremist feminist slut from FEMEN standing in front of the building that is ablaze with innocence in Odessa should be arrested for accessory to murder. NOW!

The Odessa massacre was a backfire on the proRussians. If you remember they went to hastle the proUkranians at a soccer game, then shot 4 people at the game when the crowd turned on the proRussians, they ran and tried to hide in the building the started throwing Molotov coctails at each other, the door was locked by the proRussians so no one else would get in. The rest I am sure you can put together, so put blame where it belongs, the proRussians.

Either you believe the BS-propaganda from Russia because you can't think critically or then you know the real truth behind the fire in Odessa.

Both options suck, yet life after death would probably easier for you if you were brainwashed instead of being fully aware of Russian regime's role.

----------
n the Twitterspace, Putin's trolls track down and relentlessly attack those who oppose his propaganda campaign. Last year's revelations by Russian Novaya Gazeta (reposted by http://ow.ly/uRJeq ) about a large office building full of “goal-oriented people who like to surf the Internet” in Ol'gino, St. Petersburg give a glimpse of Internet mercenaries, willing for 11.80 rubles to sell a tweet, a comment or a post on a given topic. They also use automated Twitter accounts to send out the same tweets to their target (Figure 1) or send different-worded tweets to multiple hashtags, each time giving a tweet a number (Figure 2). They regularly go and target female activists with misogynist insults (Figure3). Along the way of the media offensive, trolls are bound to influence the opinion of some to become "useful idiots" as V. Lenin would've called them, that start promoting troll content and tweeting in support of the trolls' agenda.

I have heard horrifying stories about the fire in Odessa, hence those who try to make it look like it was done by pro-ukrainians disgust me :(

You can add:
1. the destruction of the Ruble
2. the transfer of hundreds of billions of dollars out of Russia
3. the hassling of Russian descendants all over the world
4. the increased security at all countries before Russians allowed in
5. the increased profiling of travelling russians
6. the increase and distrust by all neighbors of Russia

They've already declared independence in Donetsk People's Republic. I expect them to do similar in Luhansk. What I do not get is how Obama and the west can imagine they can somehow roll back that independence. All they need is for the international community to recognize their independence. Russia is in no hurry because they know it is a foregone conclusion and they can wait as long as it suits them.
