I wonderd how come we dont use the flood control dams for flood control, but we use them for fun and recreation but the people down stream pay the price and the state, wont keep the flood conrol areas lower so if it floods people have alot more time too get out. And if the so called lakes were lower it might not be so rough too get through when it does flood but I know people with alot of money need too have a place or their boats so take them to some place where middle class doesnt have to lose all their belongings and maybe family. I live in a town south of Des Moines,Iowa Moines,Iowa
