The power restoration was supposed to happen yesterday in the Fort lee area now they are saying today and tomorrow. I haven't seen any PSEG crews in this area and we are freezing cold!

I hate PSEG. their stupid update list is a total lie. I saw a worker driving by to assess damage and he said the earliest for fort lee was Wednesday. Lets all give the mayor applause as he has once again let fort lee be the last to get power restored. This happens all too often every storm we lose power. I hate this town and can't wait to move next year.

After repeated calls to PSE&G, Saturday morning the 1st PSE&G man showed up with a small van. And this man is here on Abbott Blvd and side streets just to do estimation. PSE&G just started estimation on November 3rd, 5 days after Hurricane Sandy hit the area. And the estimation? At least 2 more weeks to get power restored !!! That is to say, THREE WEEKS after the hurricane to expect power coming back. We are no better than Haiti or any 3rd world country. And we are talking about New York City's densely populated surrounding towns, not rural area.

This is not just a natural disaster, this is disaster of Administration and Management, from the incapable federal government to the useless municipal administration, and to poorly managed PSE&G . Another 4 year to let such administration to manage our country and city? No way. Tuesday is the day !

This is just unbelievable! No electricity for 6 days?! We don't have a single downed tree or electric pole in our area and yet we have no power. We haven't seen any work being done here, no pseg crew anywhere in sight! And the customer service agents are so horrible & I considerate. After being patient for 5-7 days, we're tired. And we don't have any patience now. This is truly worse than being in any third world country! Very very disappointed & tired.

Not to say that this situation hasn't been bad cause it clearly has. Beyond being a massive inconvenience we are ALL very fortunate. You'd be wise to remember that. To those of you making this a political battle or 3rd wold issue. How about we take a trip to a 3rd world country and leave you there for a bit so you can appreciate what you have. Deal?
