Perhaps you need reading comprehension classes becuase I wasn't discussing the economy or wars - I believe I was discussing the debt. And since Obama hasn't added to the debt yet (we commonly tally that up on a yearly basis), it was in regards to from 1980 to the present.

However even if you did including this years budget, signed by Bush (not Obama) Republican presidents would still be responsinble for 10 of the 11 Trillion. The largest chunk of which by far was added from 2000 to 2006 when republicans had the entire government.

You can look all this up for yourself, it's public record.

Wow you can't even see the error in this post can you. If Bush only signed the budget written by congress then so did Obama. If Obama is spending like crazy than so did Bush.

You can say that congress is responsible for the spending when Bush is president and Obama is resposnsible he is president. EIther congress is responsible or the president is.

Not to mention my assertion was that most of that debt we have today was accrued from 2000 - 2006. By your logic since the "Presidents Party" had congress during that time, Bush is still responsible for most of our debt in this country.

So are you saying that if the worlds astrophysicists all came out and said that a giant meteor would hit the world next year and kill everything - you wouldn't believe them until you looked through the high powered telescope and saw it yourself, and not only that you'd have to teach yourself astrophysics and do the calculations yourself too. Or would you believe the people who had done all that work already.

If the government wanted to spend 1 Trillion dollars to build a missle/shuttle/whatever to blow it out of the sky, would you support it?

Now if some scientsts thought the meteor would miss us and some thought it would hit us what percentage would have to think it would hit us for you to want the government to get off it's ass and DO something about it? 51%? would 60% be enough? 75%? if only 90% said it would hit us would you say do nothing?

If that 90% were only 90% sure it would hit us, but couldn't prove it 100% would you say do nothing? What if they were 80% sure?

Deniers like to poke holes but in the end, if it was something like this they would be screaming for action with far less concensus than there is on global warming.
