"Another sister, retired New York City police officer Valarie Carey, said there was "no need for a gun to be used when there was no gunfire coming from the vehicle."
If this broad was in fact an officer at one time, she must've been the worst hire NYPD ever made! I guess hitting secret service agents with your car in Washington must be just a civil infraction, eh?

The weapon being used was her car. Once the car was wrecked and not running she was unarmed. Once unarmed she could have been taken down without using firearms, correct?
Instead the COPs shot her dead in cold blood
Have you got proof of that, or are you just continuing to talk out of your ass?

Proof of what? She is dead, they admitted she was unarmed, her car was wrecked, the COPs did the only shooting, her child was in her car, she died from COP gunshot wounds, she was depressed, what else is there to prove.
"they admitted she was unarmed". You can kill someone with a car just as quick as you can any other "weapon".

"her car was wrecked". I'm sure it was. That's what happens when you're running down cops and crashing into things.

"the cops did the only shooting". I'm sure they did. They met deadly force with deadly force.

"her child was in the car". So....?

"she died from gunshot wounds". Sure did. Again, deadly force is met with deadly force.

"she was depressed". Again, so what??

You've proved nothing other than you're an obvious cop hater and nothing else. Great job, police! One more lunatic off the streets.

Hey sis,

All of the classes of psychiatric drugs can cause violent, irrational, and/or manic behavior. Among other effects, these drugs cause a neurological condition called “akathesia,” which means that persons who take them can’t sit still and feel like they are jumping out of their skin. They behave in an agitated manner which they cannot control and experience unbearable rage, delusions, and disassociation.

The Physicians' Desk Reference lists the following adverse reactions (side effects) to antidepressants among a host of other physical and neuropsychiatric effects. None of these adverse reactions (side effects) is listed as Rare. They are all listed as either Frequent or as Infrequent:

Manic Reaction (Mania, e.g., Kleptomania, Pyromania, Dipsomania, Nymphomania)
Hypomania (e.g., poor judgment, over spending, impulsivity, etc.)
Abnormal Thinking
Hallucinations
Personality Disorder
Amnesia
Agitation
Psychosis
Abnormal Dreams

Emotional Lability (Or Instability)
Alcohol Abuse and/or Craving
Hostility
Paranoid Reactions
Confusion
Delusions
Sleep Disorders
Akathisia (Severe Inner Restlessness)
Discontinuation (Withdrawal) Syndrome
Impulsivity

Her weapon was destroyed when she exited the car and was murdered in cold blood. Competent COPs would have simply arrested her and she could have been processed by the judicial system.
Just because someone drives a car in the direction of someone standing in a road doesn't justify murdering the driver in cold blood. How many times do motorcycle riders get driven at by cars and trucks. Can they kill the driver because they drove at them? Of course not.
This chase and murder was not justified, especially with a child in the car.
And where is this mystery video of her exiting her car and getting shot in "cold blood"??

You must work for the FBI, the only thing provable is on tape.
News reports say she was shot while exiting her car.
Fleeing felon rule. Get familiar with it. Might come in handy the next time you're running from the cops like a coward.

Gentelmen don't shoot a defensless mom with baby on board, do they?
Newsflash, genius. They didn't shoot the baby. Regardless, "nice young ladies" don't try to run down cops and crash barricades, do they??

Almost hitting a COP does NOT justify executiong the driver, does it?
Sure does.

I suppose by your rationale, shooting at a cop and missing, exempts you from him shooting back and killing you.

Obviously the death penalty was applicable in this case, numbnuts. Lesson learned: try and run down cops with your car, get killed. The End.

Great job police!

Try another, the brave COPs in this case shot an innocent woman with child in her car full of holes. I'd have no problem if the brave COPs had shot her car full of holes but why shoot a defensless woman with child full of holes?
BTW, it was a miricle the child wasn't also shot full of holes.
Yawwwwn. You obviously have no idea what the hell you're talking about and continue to just make up allegations on the fly, therefore it's pointless to try and educate an ignorant dolt like you. So long, troll.

Great job, police!! Keep up the good work of taking nuts like this off the streets so that the rest of us may stay safe.

The WH guards tried to stop Ms Carey from
leaving the secure area. She panicked and rammed her way OUT of the fence they put up to keep her IN. Sneaky Pete may deify police, federal police, the Army, Air Force and Marines. But blind, robotic killing by any of the above, especially domestically, is not legal, laudatory or tolerable by the public. If it is, then these forces will become more full of trigger-happy, psychopathic nuts than the streets are, because the above agencies will attract those who like to kill with impunity.YOU seem to be a prime candidate for killer cop who thinks a badge justifies everything.
I just hope to God you're not being paid to carry a gun.

Seriously, while shooting that woman was tragic. She hit a secret service agent and caused a DC police officer to be injured by wrecking his car. The news videos clearly showed her her using her car as a weapon. Law enforcement officers are CLEARLY seen jumping out of the way to avoid been ran over. The police showed incredible restraint by not shooting her the first two times she was hemmed in.

Like I said, it was tragic. But officer Piggy would have shot her the first time she used her car as a weapon. I'm confused that anyone here is questing why she was shot. Have you not watched the videos or are you just ignorant?

Piggy dear,
Her car was disabled on the median. Police with drawn guns surrounded the car. The next line was clearly-"Come out with your hands up, throw down any guns, get face down on the ground. Don't move." This definitely would have worked, since she had no gun, the car was disabled, and she could have done nothing but come out or be removed. Shooting her could only have been revenge for causing a fuss, and using her car to escape machine gun toting cops, who injured themselves chasing her or getting out of the way. But the police are not judge, jury and executioner. They had no right to set the sentence for the above actions as death. Long before the end of the chase, they could have shot out her tires, when she went around the roundabout twice with a police car in front and in back of her, they could have braked, jammed her in, and shot out all her tires.Officer Piggy might have shot her when she tried to leave the secured driveway, but that does not mean that if Piggy had not been standing in the roadway, Mirium Carey would have aimed her car and came after him, anyway. She was NOT using her car as a weapon, but a means of escape. The murderous intent was not hers, but theirs. It was not necessary to kill her at the end, when her car was disabled. The police who killed her know that. Too bad Piggy doesnt.

Whoever said that, why could not the woman simply become lost in the labyrinth of barriers and checkpoints, and panicked when chased.
