another reason is there prices to get into the lake are more than most families can afford.

The price to get in is more than most families can afford? Seriously? It's $5/adult (13 and up) and kids 12 and under are free! I think that's pretty affordable for most families!
The cost has no effect on the lake considering when the lake it full of water you can hardly even get a campsite without booking it at least 2 weeks in advance!
