It's more than the good B B Q at Shemwell's. Cairo is the confluence of the the two most important rivers in America. It is the place where Hispanics are now coming to revive more than a city. They are now part of a great history. This city must be saved by having America's most important waterway up to a level where the vital shipping that supports the whole area, from the Cape over to wonderful Paducah, working at full speed. Keep the Mississippi high and wet, not low and dry.
