Better late than never?
#1 Sep 23, 2013
“Better late than never” is a phrase that might be applied to our dawning understanding and acceptance of sea-level rise and its effects on our Delmarva Peninsula. For at least 20 years now warnings have periodically been raised (and ignored) about global warming."
The fact that Delaware is so low lying makes it a 'canary in a coal mine' for sea level rise. It will feel the effects long before the rest of the country (except maybe Florida).

Good question, I'm still waiting for this "'canary in a coal mine' for sea level rise" to keel over and die as we're told it's supposed to.
