Two people had a lucky escape from a car stuck in flood water at Titoki, about 30 kilometres west of Whangarei, on Mangakahia Valley Rd. An exciting start to the school break for siblings Nathan and Izzy Turner, as a large tree blocks the road outside their home in Ruatangata near Whangarei.
