Sympathies to the family. Taylor's intention to just play in the rain gives a picture of such sweetness and innocence. What a sad story.

What a terribly sad story. My condolences to the family. I gotta wonder, though, why the girl wasn't taken to Lakeview Hospital, a mere 3 blocks away, instead taking a 20 minute ride all the way into St. Paul. Lakeview has a Cardiac Center and may have been able to do something in the extra 17 critical minutes.

Regions now has been designated as a Pediatric Trauma hospital and considering the severity of the injury, that would have been the best place for her. This is such a tragic accident. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Taylor was a nice girl. I knew her when she went to my school. Its truly unfair that she died soo soon. People in my grade are now wishing they knew her better. So do i. I remeber once in 6th grade she had a huge crush on the guy whose locker is next to mine. she used to put notes in his locker. I used to see her do it. I thought it was sweet. I wonder if he still remebers....
