Neb. officials worry about possible summer drought

LINCOLN, Neb. &#8212 This year's warm, dry weather has experts worried that crops in Nebraska and other Plains states could be hurt by drought unless the area receives more rain.

Instead of worrying, it might be a better course of action to advise areas with low rainfalls to cancel or restrict firework displays to events conducted by professional fireworks operators under fire department observation at municipal auditoriums or stadiums.
