I am glad this forum is getting back to something more relevant to some of us. WKTV had an update on the murder this week. Check the website. I don't know why they are offering a plea. This should have been a slam-dunk.

I don't think they were locals. I think they were NJ people.

This was an accidental shooting. Think what you want about the second shot. I'm sure that if he could change what happened on June 11th he would. Has anyone questioned what his wife was doing before the shooting? Is it possible she had the gun on him and he was just defending himself? I don't believe that he is going to get a fair trial and I also believe that the prosecutor is going to make him out to be some horrible person that he is not.

There is only one person who knew what happened and he is sitting in jail right now. The second shot does make him look guilty. I hope he gets a fair trial.

You have to be kidding me. Defending himself with 2 shots? And someone that has had FOUR wives, and numerous dealings where he ripped people off is a horrible person. Wake up. What are you his brother?

When you are faced with iminent grave bodily hard or death you may legally fire as many shots as needed to neutralize the threat. So the number of shots fired may not actually matter if his life was threatened.

that would be terrific if he said he was threatened, which he didnt. He called 911 and said he "accidentally" shot her, not "i shot her in self defense"

Try again

I ve known larry and his family for years, went to school w him and lived not far from him in NJ. He's known as a BSer, bully and all around person you dont want to be around or have dealings with. Ask his prior wives about him, they'll tell you plenty. He was basically forced from NJ because he ripped off so many people, he couldnt find landscaping work.

Hey TonyJ if you hung around with Utter and relocated from NJ to NY like he did you must be just like him. Maybe you should keep a low profile until this is over?

I dont know any of his ex-wives. I only know him from a local bar. I just cant imagine him intentionally shooting someone especially a women. Besides Im not sure why the number of wives is relevent. Being married and divorced several times doesnt make them a bad person.

No, but abusing women does make him a bad person. As does collecting $ to do work for people and not doing the work. People work hard for their $, why should he be any different.
I know 2 of his ex wives. Larry manipulated, and mentally abused each one of them. You think people change and suddenly are respectful of others?

Four ex-wives? I don't know about that but if that is the case why after 4 divorces would he decide to purposely kill his current wife? Makes no sense. Also if she was so afraid of him harming her why did she come back to him after leaving him? Trust me I feel horrible for his wife's family and friends but I know for a fact that he wishes that day never happened and that she was still here with him.

Are one of the ex wives you are referring to one that still lives in his house in NJ? Doesn't seem to such an abusing bully letting her live there in my opinion?
Also I am sure that all of his statements made to the police have not been released so none of us know what he said to them, only what the "news" has reported.
Do any of you know his late wife and what type of person she was???
