Even knowing this man has pled guilty to this, I still can not understand how anyone could do something like this. I know it happens across the world every day, but my mind still can't get wrapped around how someone could reach a point where they would give no thought at all to the value of another human life.

Back in the early 70's at the Fulton Biggs 8 building I saw an inmate beat a doctor to death with a mop bucket. Made a hell of a mess.

I went to work there a year or two later. I was there when Robert Newsom was killed but thank God it was my day off. A few months later I was promoted into Bob's old position. I stayed in that position for many years AND had to deal with on a daily basis the patient who killed him.
Sitting here writing this brings back many bad memories that I'd rather forget.
Don't ever go to work at the Biggs Building. I don't care how bad the economy is, I don't care how good the benefits are now, IT'S NOT WORTH IT.

Charles "Chuck" Durham was working there at that time, he quit and went to MSP.
