Taylor police officer found dead in apparent suicide in Ypsilanti Township

A Taylor police officer was found dead from a gunshot wound Thursday in an Ypsilanti Township parking lot, but there was no indication of foul play, a Washtenaw County sheriff's spokesman said.

Extremely sad. I'm sure he will be missed.it makes u wonder what could have driven him over the edge. Many people who would otherwise seek some counseling don't because they r embarrassed. I remember multi millionaire Heinz prechter in july 2001 took his own life because of depression. I had seen him a few times and he never struck me as being depressed. I'm sure this officer wasn't long before retiring from force.

Im from the Downriver originally and have lived in Ypsila.ti and I honestly dont know which is more stigmatizing: alive in Taylor pr drawing blowflies on S. Huron.

Never give into suicide...bad enough avoiding accidents...trying to stay in shape...hiding when a tornado arrives...I got to get to my animation...like what will the next animation cartoon be like?
