He should be charged with feticide, but if he was a doctor ripping the baby out of the womb, then it would be ok.
ok Bart obviously you have never been a woman raped by a gang of 20 or possibly even raped by your own daddy and a pregnancy happens? abortion is a consititutional right and that's all there is to it sweetheart...hmm i don't know you're age but lets' just say you are a 16 yr old boy that got your 15 yr old girl knocked up...you would probably be ok with abortion then, hmmm or maybe your own son maybe got someone pregnant...

bottom line is that this woman didn't ask this guy to kill her and her "FETUS" (Baby)

Isn't it amazing that in this story the gunman is being charged with killing the baby but yet with an abortion it is just a fetus being killed, a "parasite" in the mother. What's the difference and how is it justified.
hmm let's see the difference could be that the MOTHER did not choose to be shot and have herself and her baby killed...abortion is the choice a woman makes not some idiot with a gun...and it is LEGAL in case you haven't heard

Why is it worse for someone other than the mother to kill a baby? Shouldn't a mother be expected to protect her child more than anyone else? Just another example of how misplaced America's priorities have gotten.
the more comments i read on this site the more disgusting some of you seem...what was the woman supposed to do this guy killed her ..... HELLLLLOOOOO misplaced priorities....are you serious...i'm sure all she thought of as she lay dying was that child in her womb

there is no difference. Society has given over the right to decide life or death to the whims of a woman.
whims...do you think it is an easy choice to get an abortion? I'd like to see you live as a woman for one day a pregnant woman at that with everything....like homelessness..possibly the child is a result of daddy sneaking in your room...or 5 of your cousins raping you at the family reunion...this is not a fairy tale or bullshit...these things happen...how bout all the young girls giving birth who then kill their babies right after birth? speak about something you know about...you know nothing of being a woman...go talk to your momma...

This is a forum, it is my understanding that we are here to post our thoughts. Your thoughts are just as welcome as mine.
"Unless you are a woman who has ever faced the decision to have abortion, YOU HAVE NO PLACE TO SAY whether it is necessary or not."

Your quote, my emphasis added.
If my thoughts are so welcome, then why do you think I "have no place to say" them?

Hear that noise? It's the sound of backpedaling!

I am not backpedaling, I am saying you have no place to say whether or not that woman is making the right decision. I didn't say you didn't have the RIGHT, I said it is not your PLACE.

necessary- completely the wrong wording. its never "a necessary procedure" the only time that it would become that is when its a PROVEN rape situation... not just sone girl who can sleep around and then when she gets preg. decides that she shouldnt have to deal with a kid, BS
is this your Professional Medical Opinion?

So somehow a fetus conceived in rape is less of a fetus? That makes no sense for you prolifers. If a fetus is a baby it really doesn't matter how it was conceived.

there is no excuse for killing your child (abortion) other than to perhaps save your own life....Ectopic pregnancy for example.I don't give a damn whether or not some baloon headed supreme court justices declared it legal or not, it means that you elect for someone else to kill your baby....really a class act.....NOT

Are you people not getting it?..This is a story about a violent crime,"Murder" The Murder of a Single Mom(and her friend) with 2 children already. You People who a comparing this to an Abortion forum only makes YOU feel Self-Rightgious,..Kind of like Rosie O'Donnell. But,Then again,If the Suspects Mother had an Abortion,2 people would still be alive today...Hmmmmmmm? and 2 Kids would still have a mother.

you're right it should be able to be born but unless you are a woman you cannot imagine what it feels like to be pregnant...if by accident is one thing and i don't believe woman should abort a fetus if they get pregnant by "accident" but if you are raped can you imagine going through a pregnancy and the emotional toll it would take on you and you didn't choose that...or if you were raped by a family member..could you even imagine...i myself would probably have the child...see how i felt and the if i was so traumatized then maybe give it up for adoption ... there are plenty of childless people in the world...but still carrying a child to full term is not an easy thing...
