Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty, this kid hasn't even had a chance to give his story, the media wasn't there and has no clue what happened, they only print what they know will grab our attention. Did the word "accident" never even get considered?

Go to the courthouse and request the probable statement. Read it. No accident in this case. I do agree it is BS for anyone to be tried in the court of public opinion. Now you know how law officers feel when involved in lethal force usages.

Steve you sound like some one that works at PD.
I wonder how many will study up on SBS before they add opinions!
I hope each person takes time to relize what would happen if they came upon a baby choking.
Yoy do not have time to be gentle.

Sorry to disagree, but there is a difference in reasonable force used in CPR of a six week old and the damages that were alleged to have happened in this case.

Take from someone who knows the whole story. They don't have a case because she was passed around and mutiple people where handling the baby, while they were trying to get the baby to stop choking and then to do cpr. They just wanted someone to blame. NO ONE on thinks he is guilty.

Apparently you dont know the whole story as you indicate. The baby was in sole care of the boyfriend. It was only AFTER the injuries to the child, while he was downstairs "changing a diaper" did anyone else handle the child. The suspect is guilty as charged. Geeze wake up....Do you find it normal for a child to suffer a skull fracture and brain damage from C.P.R.?

Your a flippin moron. Read the probable cause statement filed at the court house. Its as clear as the stupidity in your writing that he is guilty and how and when the injury occurred. No accident, no who did it, no nothing. Plain and simple. Maybe someone could do a little C.P.R. on you biaatch. By the way, he was in sole care downstairs...as you said mom and rest of the family was upstairs...f----- idiot!!

What makes you think that just because you know the mother "very well" means that you know what happened in the basement? The mother doesn't even know what happened in the basement of that house, so how could you? Were you there? Maybe you should take the advice of "Autumnleaves" and do some studying on shaken baby syndrome. Serious, serious trauma has to occur for an infant to receive that much brain damage and a skull fracture. I guess we will see how it plays out in court, but all you need is common sense to figure out that the baby didn't receive injuries and ultimately, death, from someone attempting CPR.

I will believe what a doctor stated in the probable cause statement over the excuse that I accidently killed my baby doing CPR. I believe the evidence in the probable cause speaks for itself. Even the mother is quoted as saying the baby was fine until the boyfriend took her downstairs. 10-1 odds, the boyfriend pleads guilty to some charge associated with the death of the infant.

And you should educate yourself on the facts, not biased opinions before you try to report something you have no clue about. Once again...your a f---- idiot.

Where does all these statements come from? How can one read them?
It will take a good attorney proably to get this all worked out.

Since this, I've been to several websites about "shaken baby syndrome" and there's no way that this baby died from injuries due to CPR. The information I read made me sick, and believe it or not, the boyfriend meets the statistics of the offender. If the baby had a fractured skull, there was alot of force behind dropping her.

Go to the Lincoln County Justice Center and request a probable cause statement in reference to this case. It is an open record, which anyone can access, and this is what I did. It seems like a pretty cut and dry case, but judge for yourself after reading the facts of the case, which led to the criminal charges being filed.

I totally agree. It is a sad case especially for the baby but also the suspects family.

I know the suspect and his family. I know he is not an evil person. BUT, as a former medic, I also know CPR (even improperly performed) will not result in the type and severity of injury this child is said to have received.

Anonymous, unless you are a sister of the boyfriend,(which is what I suspect) and was in the house when it happened, then you also were not there and can only go by what you were told. Therefore, what you "know" is heresay.
