Did you get a look at the house? It's so dilapidated that I don't think there was much difference from being inside or outside.

Was there or was there not a radiator?

Dont paint the picture that because she died that makes her innocent. She committed a crime and KNOWINGLY took her child. I am not a cruel person. I am a victim of robbery 2 times. So save the speech, she was a criminal and committed a crime and endangered her life. Stoll did not wake up and go looking for kids to shoot at. But they did get up an look for a person to rob.

Good post!!!

Hello,She was unarmed and the police never recovered any type of weapon from jessica's car. Mr Stoll ,however had plenty of weapons and was breaking parole by having them.

She was in the wrong too!! Just because she did not have a weapon does not mean she did not go there intentially to steal from that man!! It is sad that she got killed, but she would not have died that way if she had chose to stay home with her child!!(where she should have been)!! The MAIN thing here is pray for this family and I HOPE that she was saved so they have can know she is in a better place!!

Stoll was the victim. The others were the criminals. Keep the faith.
First Taylor Olson hanged himself, now Robert Stoll. Is this the start of a new trend? If this keeps up, Brushy Mtn. may empty itself.

<quoted text>So you think that someone who ccommets murder only deserves 5 years? That is what is wrong with our world today..people like you and your opionions. I hope he gets life! MURDER IS MURDER And I think you need to try to stop playing the cop here and trying to list all the things you thougth the Mother was in fault for. She has lost her life over this and you side with the property owner? And I do think Mr.Stoll's past crimanal record is very relevent. He is a CRIMINAL and should be punished for his crimes..ALL OF THEM!

Are you saying that someone who shoots robbers deserves to pay for a crime?...Undestand I do not have all the facts of this case, but regardless of whether or not he was a felon, he is not in the wrong for shooting robbers(if that is indeed what they were)

That is the way our flawed justice system works today.

I guess...Weird...The fact that this guy(Stall) was a complete piece of crud is irrelevant if those people were robbing him of his property..It seems like a lot of people that posted here don't seem to care about that...I may have my facts wrong, but that is how the story seemed to read...Any definitive answers here as to what happened???

I care about the fact that Stoll was being robbed, but I think that shooting someone over a used car part is a tad bit excessive. I wasn't there, but one would think that he could have called the sheriff or the police rather than shoot into a vehicle that was driving the opposite direction from him. I also think there is more to the story than we think. I wouldn't be suprised at all if these individuals knew Stoll. I think the whole thing is drug related myself. Hard to believe someone could get that worked up over a radiator.

Why is Stall a complete piece of crud? This woman was the driver of the get away car. She and another woman and a man (along with her very young son) were stealing from Stall. I didn't catch all that at first. But YES they were thieves stealing from him and he shot at them and she died.
She should not have been thieving! I have no sympathy for a thief. I have been on the victim side. If they had succeeded in their plot to steal from him and later got caught everybody would be talking about how worthless of a mother she is and how she deserved to loose the kid she already had and the new baby because she took them with her to rob somebody and put them in danger. I have to agree with that statement. She did not care about the unborn child or the less than 2 year old in the back seat. All she cared about was getting money by taking something from somebody else THAT DID NOT BELONG TO HER so she could get money. If I had to guess I would venture to say for drugs!

Calling the police is a joke. By the time they get there the car is gone and if you do not have proof then it's your word against a bunch of thugs who all can say they were somewhere else. And I don't care what is being taken. I have been the victim of someone stealing from me and I worked for the stuff that was taken. Not the idiot who chose to steal it. Yeah, it may seem excessive to shoot at someone over a used radiator but maybe this is not the first time these useless thieves have stolen from him. I put stealing right up there with murder and rape. Unless you are killed while trying to steal something and then you deserve it! Things are tough right now and the economy is really bad but you have to work harder and make do with less. Not take from others. If someone breaks into my house or just comes on my property and starts carrying stuff off I will do whatever I have to to stop them.

I'll be the first to admit that I know very little about the law. But I was just wondering, with Stoll gone now, what will happen to the others that stole from him? Does it change anything?

I hope this is not a trend. I work in corrections in Morgan County and that sort of thing is devistating to those who work there.

No one deserved to die due to a radiator. Someone could have thrown out the radiator and that is why it might not have been found. She should have known better than to have been out committing crimes pregnant and with her child. I am sad that she died, but she honestly shouldn't have placed herself in that situation. If I was robbing someone I would know that there is a chance they'll come out shooting. Therefore I do not rob people out of fear and most importantly respect for other people's stuff.
