Martin: I do not mean to be rude, but you have been given the wrong information. Jamie was NOT in rehab when he met or was hired by Dr. Chua. And there's no "supposedly" about it, his mother IS an R.N. and she loves Jamie very much. So did ALL of his other family members, as well as the numerous friends he had. Whoever you got your information from is wrong so it might be a good idea to check any more information he/she tells. I know Jamie's family extremely well and again, I assure you, Jamie has not been in rehab.
ok here is my question....if his friends were "true friends" and they knew what was going on, why did nobody go to his parents and tell them what was going on....as a mom myself i know that if someone told me my son was taking an assortment of drugs, be it legal or illegal, i would definitely step in....i dont blame the parents because i dont think they knew what was going on with although i could be wrong....however for the "friends of jamie" that are speaking about knowing what was going on, why did you just sit back and watch it happen....ask yourself were you a true friend becuase if you answer yes take a look back and ask yourself what you could have done to prevent this....so in all reality i think that the "true friends" that knew what was going should share in the blame...its called enabling and not helping

You hit the nail on the head there! If Jamie had been ANYWHERE else but with Chua he WOULD still be alive today! I haven't read much of this forum but I can certainly see what kind of supporters Mr. Chua has. What an ignorant, naive, foolish, uninformed pool of scum with no respect for the dead or a grieving family. What a sad, pathetic bunch!
now just remember that not all of his supporters are as ignorant as some....i dont support or not support him but i do wish the family well and that justice will be served no matter the outcome

''I think it's wrong. He's not going to take off.''

not unless he can devise a good escape plan.

''He's going to answer the charges.''
yep,the judge made sure that he will

''He knows he's not guilty.
No one here thinks he's guilty.''

looks like you won't be picked for the jury

''He's gonna go to court," says Morris

yep
thats what judge had in mind when he denied bail
now its our turn

Time to move this doctor out of USA and let him redeem himself taking care of EBOLA patience in AFRICA.

SEEMS like a waste to leave him in prison. When the world really needs people of the skills he has.

If the man that blew up many Americans released from CUBA surely we can let a doctor go that was place in prison under dubious circumstances at best. Real reason his family got paid on life insurance policy that would otherwise would not have paid off for suicide.

Release Doctor on humanitarian grounds to AFRICA country that would take him.

The USA is reviewing all there drug laws and plan on just releasing over 86,000 current Federal Prisoner loose in the USA.

Many of these people have been in prison for decades.(Sure know they have had some good training on how to be a crook).

I worry more about them than people like the good Doctor who will just be gone.

Enough around the USA to make people consider this as an option. Do it in Your State of Texas.
