Then there's "Gee, I didn't know he was a felon when I sold him my gun!"
Anything like this:

"In 2010 15000 Fugitives/Felons Tried to Buy Guns, Obama’s DOJ Prosecuted 44."

So what?

Other than it was more than Bush's DoJ prosecuted?

And providing background checks are successful in prevent some illegal gun sales?

The PURPOSE of the universal background law requiring sales be checked is to PREVENT sales to unqualified buyers.

To interrupt and stop the sales.

Not to put them in jail.

So two million (plus) sales did not go through and that is when the background checks are not required and when felons are aware of the restrictions and they go to people like you who don't bother to check.

Two million sales stopped.

You want to pretend this did not stop subsequent crimes?

Society on the whole is messed up. 'A guy runs over a cop, he is arm and dangerous.' A kid shoots up a school; 'ohhh, lets coddle and give him a book deal in a few years.' That Vicks guy got charge, had to pay, and lost some money from his football deal, over dogs, but some boy in Texas killed at least 4 people and permantely damage a young man, while riding around in his father's company truck, and was sent to a rehab center, at his pleasure. I truly wish all of you non-billionaires well, and able to survive living, with YOUR further leaders of the world; you know, that ones you are responsible for raising...

There will be more shootings in Chicago in the next 4 days then have occurred in schools this year/ So clean up your jungle, then ask about gun control in the other neighborhoods.

There will be more shootings all around the USA, many women will die with the gun their husband bought to protect the family.

Boy, why fixate on Chicago?

The jungles are in other backyards and hitting hard at those folks who thought their first graders were safe in school, shopping in Wal-Mart was cheap and safe, students in a university town were getting educated and were safe and kids in high school were safe.

And Chicago isn't even in the top ten.

Tell me this: in how many of these shootings were guns involved?

Duh. If they are shootings I have to assume guns were involved. Again, how many guns were in the hands of crazies? Bingo. Give that man a cigar!!!

Okay, got it: every day close to three dozen people will die somewhere in the US from gunshots and some of these are going to happen in America's third largest city.

And what they have in common are they die from gun shot wounds.

And since Obama is from Chicago, it is obviously his fault those in Chicago, and since he isn't from anywhere else, none of those are his fault.

Maybe before September we can start picking up the crazies, taking them off the street, and there won't be any school shootings next year. Every shooter involved in school shootings was known by someone who knew they had mental problems, and they did nothing about it. They are the people we should go after. I know parents don't want to face the fact their child is crazy, but when they know he is, and they ignore the problem they need to be punished.

There has been a mass shooting of some kind every ten days.

School shootings seem to occur during the school year but then there is still summer school...

Maybe you can stand out there and block the bullets for us, Scrote?

First off let me start by saying my title doesn't truly depict how I feel about this great country. But it's only when you put it into perspective with the rest of the third world shit holes. Yeah maybe our living conditions blow there's away, but that was only by the choices we've made to develop ourselves and grow our country. Anyone of these other countries could've found a great leader to step up and start making changes for the better, what can I say some people just don't know any other way of life...... But Really to the point of this topic. All the shit we're seeing today with shootings and not being able to control our kids......the only person to blame here is the parents and the rest of society for not stepping in to help out the situation. When you're a parent or at least a good parent you step in and bite the situation in the ass before gets too far. Guns are not the problem, it's the irresponsible gun owners that are the problem. You know I'm not that old I just turned 35 recently, my whole life I've struggled to do the right thing. I got to tell you being raised by two good parents that obviously cared enough to knock the shit out of me when I got out of line made it not so much of a struggle to do the right thing. Now I live on Long Island which by the way happens to be one of the most expensive places to live in the United States, I bought my first home almost 5 years ago now, and I'm doing well. I didn't get here by just floating along, and I certainly wasn't coddled and made to feel like getting a ribbon for just finishing is good enough. That's most of the problem with this country today. There is a huge sense of entitlement. Everybody thinks that they deserve more than they actually do. So what happens to a child when he thinks he deserves more than he actually does because his whole life he's been told it's okay to not try your hardest, you wind up with a bunch of people who think that they should be entitled to stuff for just floating along through life and not giving it their all. Couple that with the trickle-down effect of a poor attitude because as they're getting older they're realizing life doesn't just give you a hand out, what are you left with???? The children of useless lazy self entitled garbage that call themselves parents that can't control their kids. Get your fucking head out of your ass America and get a hold of your kids.
