All the posters who claim to know James communicate
in Cholo jargon or in the case of the nice lady from Tucson, engage in the old bogus time worn rhetoric of cholo disenfranchisement .. any kid in the Southern Cal Barrios during the last thirty years has had every educational opportunites known to mankind, but most embrace the tribal culture .. I know of no other culture where parents are dismal failures in controlling their kids .. Mijo at the time he is about fourteen years old, does as he damn pleases

For EVERYONE who has the nerve to come on here, on the INTERNET, to talk crap about someone most of you probably don't even know, because you've got nothing better to do with your sad lives. NO ONE deserves to be killed. James was amazing. I've looked up to him my entire life, and yeah, people make mistakes, I'm sure all of you have. Does that mean James deserved to die? Not even in the slightest. He had a child to take care of, a child whom EVERYONE knew, he loved unconditionally. Now that child has to grow up without a father, a mother has to carry on without her son, a grandmother without a grandson, a cousin without her hero figure. James may have not been perfect, be he was far above all the disrespect left on here.
I love and miss you, James.
If he was such a great Dad, why was he a Cholo out throwing signs.
We always hear the same nonsense about how much love surronded these guys. So he was only 25 years old and had a kid playing little league .. how old was he when the kid was born?

In a futuristic society, all of this tribal behavoir will not be tolerated.

"These guys?" Every one has an opinion, your opinion is not correct. Don't judge a book by it's cover, I learned that as a toddler. Think before you speak, that's another thing I learned. James Ryan Dominguez was a great father and not only that but he loved people in general. He was a forgiving person and a VERY respectful man. If you didn't know him personally please don't tred on his name... that is disgusting and vile. People can be cruel with their actions and words. James earned his reputation as a good man. For you to come on here believing that you have any right to talk about somebody who has died by the hand of ignorance and violence is of course very upsetting, ignorant and disrespectful. Please keep your opinions to yourself. If you insist on sharing such apathy and being so absurd, please do it with people who know you personally. Because MY FRIEND JAMES DOMINGUEZ <3 was a good man and practically anyone who met him, loved him or liked him as a person. He was the kind of man that would give you the shirt off of his back, be there to help you up when everyone else turned their backs. He would do it out of the kindness of his heart. Yes, he was proud of the city he was raised in, but even if you had met him halfway around the world, he would not only throw up the W for his city as a gesture of a fun or to take a picture (his signature pose) but he would also stick out his hand to shake yours. Sincerely Erika Rest In Peace James <3 "You can't keep a good man down" We love you man!!

No one is an Angel, and those who claim they are, just do a good job at hiding their bs. I didn't know this guy but I saw them pull him out of the car so it was a rather personal moment for me. It is a tragedy for any family, no matter what the circumstances. We can't make choices for others in life, and we may disagree with things they do, but it still hurts to see them go. Rest in peace James, and may your family find peace.

Yeah, I don't understand why people feel they need to post comments about "he doesn't sound like an angel". Anyway, if you were there, forget this internet bs and try to help the police find his killers. He was murdered and did not deserve it.

Everyone is crying over this frightful and shameful event. I'm sorry but if he got shot their must have been a serious reason why? No one shoots at anyone in broad daylight for no reason! I passed by the place where all this took place, a lot of hoodlums were there drinking in public, and a lot more vandelism is happening near by also. This makes the city look extremely bad. I can only imagine what type of people james hung out with, "tell me who u hang out with, & ill tell you who you are!" LOSER!

HELLO! People getting shot makes the city bad. People get shots for all sorts of stupid reasons. Think before you speak. Otherwise I urge you to keep you opinions to yourself.

Yes I know who James is he lived few houses from my parents. So don't sit here and tell me I didn't know him he WASN'T AN ANGEL this was not the first time he got shot at the few times I Hung out with him he talked shit and instigated beef between crews. So u tell me what's wrong with that picture? He shot at people himself just missed, so if he was driving around with a gun shooting people and W's in the air doesn't that go to show he was expecting drama! No one is bullet PROFF and its sad to say but what goes around comes around!

Tell the truth now. Not what you heard, but what you actually witnessed. Word of mouth bullshit is for the birds. Sounds like a personal vendetta.

"Your a nice young lady and I admire the fact that you took the higher road, speaking of compassion. At this point, most in main stream society in So Cal, no longer care about barrio violence, since it has been going on for over sixty year (La Vidsa Loca) an getinbg worse .. it's a cultural thing,"
Really Now,
Thanks for the nice young lady reference but I am not so young anymore. Old enough to know that 60 years ago this level of violence was not a part of the culture of the Barrio. And this killing your own is not a part of the Latino culture. Instead it is a sub-culture born out of years of minorities being disenfranchised. Like I said it's no secret mainstream society doesn't care. They are of the "me" generation whose only concern is for self.
Did he throw up signs, Yep, does that mean he deserved to be murdered? Everyone takes one minute aspect of his life and passes judgement? James was never violent, he was a peace maker more interested in making people laugh. He routinely reached out to others doing whatever he could to help. I'm told he gave people the benefit of a doubt and prefered peace. Stopped more fights than he engaged in. He never missed his sons baseball games, priding himself on what he had taught him about the game. He stopped more than a few fights prefering to be a peace maker. You couldn't be sad or mad around him. He wasn't having it. He never carried a gun prefering to resolve a conflict at best verbally, at worst a good old fashioned fight.
When he was shot by cowards he was driving home from work. I doubt he ever saw them since he was shot in the back. The shame of this is that if these mental midgets had known James they would of liked him. Nothing can change until mainstream society understands that EVERY death diminishes us all. Nothing I say is going to change people whose notions are born out of ignorance. That being true, nothing is going to get me to stop trying.
First off you live in AZ, STF do you know about Wilmas and the harbor area. There are two sides to every story. It sounds as thought he was a Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hide, he may have been and angel in the day but a devil at night. I didn't know him but ths is what I am hearing in this forum. should I make my assumption on what is being told here? should you assume what you are being told to be true? Someone knew him better that thatn we did.

Well "metal999esm" evidentally I'm still alive, & nor have I ever been shot at! So its NOT people like me, its people like JAMES that get shot!=) I can only imagine how many lives he has hurt, how many people he shot...how many fights he instigated! This picture that everyones painting of him, trust me he was no angel.... sad that his son is left without a father but he knew the rules of the game! He should have straightened up that lil life of his when he became a father! RESPECT? A guy like him deserves that! Not in my eyes! Its people like him and his imature friends that not only make themselfs look bad but make the city look bad too! GROW THE F'UP! And that's real mofo talk for you! His friends n family are only out there so they can BEG for donations!!! BROKE ASSES!
His family did not ask for donations. I don't have much to say to you, because this post more than your others showed your true colors. You are ignorant, angry, apathetic. Nobody wants your opinion. Why do idiots always have to be the ones to preach? If you are trying to help this city (Wilmington) please do not spread anymore of you ignorance and stupidity. That's how you can help. Also no, James was not completely innocent or naive, but he had a good heart and was all the great things we say. We loved him so much. Not just his family, he was loved by so many people and not only people from Wilmington. So you go ahead and Calale Mijo, but you do it to the people who you know personally and who care to actually listen to and believe your bullshit. You owe the family an apology, if you have any integrity at all. Rest In Peace James <3
