Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick introduced a new series of gun laws on Wednesday that would tighten rules on sales of weapons and ammunition, in the wake of last month's deadly school shooting in neighboring Connecticut.

It's now in the hands of congress and I do not think this idiotic so called Assault Weapon Ban sht is going to pass/renew/etc...It was tried once and it failed.
One of the reasons the clintoon gun ban failed to renew was because the rank and file amongst police depts realized they could not purchase weapons they used while on duty, retired, etc. i.e. It was 17 rounds on duty and 10 rounds at home...Same criminal element to deal with, that did not change...just the amount of ammo you have to deal with 'em...disgusting.

Obama just negated the Doctor-Patience priviledge by asking doctors to rat on their clients.
