It's called assault.<quoted text>
Nope, nothing. You are not allowed to lay a finger on a police officer for any reason. If you do, you can face charges as well even if there was no harmful intent.
You can be charged with assault if you put a finger on anyone, without regard to his or her occupation.
You do remember insisting that any time someone laid a finger on a cop it was a felony?
As all of us adults know: the pedophile thug did more than put a finger on the cop or he would not have been arrested. He was combative and confrontational and most people understand that there is a line a person can cross when dealing with cops and the pedophile crossed that line.
And his disregard for lines and assaults is backed up by a history of violence- with cops, with girl friends, with the FACT that he got fired as a renta cop.
And of course the fact that he got off at driving around at night with a gun in his pocket, looking for an excuse to be the tough guy he could be only when he had a gun in his pocket.
