What is wrong with our young people? Not just these boys, but the ones in the police logs who beat up other people.

That is tragic. Sean worked so hard to recover from his previous gunshot wound. My Prayers are with the family.

This is so sad. I just did a google search and it looks like the family has already lost a son. Sean's 14 year old brother passed away in Feb of last year.

Tragic.

How dare you say something about this poor kid. Not a single one of yall know what exactly happened and I can promise you they weren't playing a shooting game. McGinnis was good kid. I knew him personally. He did not deserve what happened to him. You should all be ashamed of yourselfs for wrtting something so cruel. What if he was your son, brother, grandchild? How would it make you feel for some jackass like yourself to write something about your family. If you have nothing nice to say about the situtation then keep your damn mouth shut!

I think you need to get your facts straight. They weren't playing a trust game. I know this because I happen to know him personally. If anyone is a moron, it's you!

Well said! Some of these people are just rude and inconsiderate, until its one of their own family members.

I would just like to say that I feel sorry for all the people who have decided to make my best friends death a big debate. I'm sure 99% of you never even met McGinnis and that's what makes me angry. Not a single person on here has any right whatsoever to dig into his family's personal business, or bring up the past events before this horrible tragedy. I would like to finish with I really hope that all of the PATHETIC people on here go find something better to do with their own lives, instead of mocking someone else's life being taken from them!

Topix posters have been doing this to people for years, not just with McGinnis either. It's the sick nature of the beast on topix. Lowlifes troll topix as you can see. Sorry for your loss.

It is very tragic that this happened. I hope anyone who is having a difficult time dealing with this has someone they can rely on. I wish things like this would never happen but unfortunately sometimes there is nothing we can do. It does not matter where you came from or how you were raised. Things like this happen too often in any part of the world no matter how safe you think the neighborhood is or how much you think you know someone. I don't want to make any speculations about what happened because it is not my place but I do hope that everyone who is left to deal with what happened will be alright.
