Jan 15, 2013 Full story: The Reporter 12

I will start by saying that I do not want to overturn the Second Amendment. I enjoy target shooting and I have family members who own a number of guns.

Right on cue, and as usual Ernie is full of crap.

" I personally think that only the police and the military should be allowed to own and use automatic and semi-automatic weapons. It takes only one bullet to kill an intruder in your house."

He could be right, but only if there is only one. Intruder and you are a good enough shot to take the POS down with one shot. We all know that these modern day wannabe thugs travel in groups so after you shoot the first one the others will finish you off and then go to work on your wife and daughters. Personally, when I am awakened in the middle of the night it takes me a few seconds to gather my thoughts and get my bearings so if I had to shoot quickly I may just miss with the first shot.(Unlikely, but possible). Not to worry though, I have some of those dreaded High capacity clips".

On to the "51-50" nuts. Years ago we would keep these assorted nuts in the nut house where they belong and along came the do gooder democrats whining that we can't do that anymore be cause it was cruel. These are the same idiots who now say we have to do something about the nuts.

Funny,( Well sad really), that all the "progressive" democrats are the firs ones to jump up and say that they and only they can solve the problems that they and their policies created.

Even if you miss, the cowards will run like hell, because they are cowards and bullies

My long-lasting gun is flanked by dual high-capacity reservoirs, but it takes longer these days to replenish them after a thorough draining.

Every law abiding gun owner take note.

When your home is invaded and your permitted gun (guns) turns up missing and then used in any capacity by the thief you should be held just as accountable as the thief who pulled the trigger.

This includes murder by said gun... The guns getting into the hands of these criminals are being legally obtained by irresponsible individuals.
Of course not all of these crimes are with stolen guns but a large percentage is.

I am quite sure if this was put into law there would be less mass murders, robberies, hold ups, rapes, etc. etc. etc.

Magazine, its a magazine not a clip. JFC, clips went out with the M1 Garand. I can always tell when someone is talking out their ass whenever they use the term clip.

Now that you mention it, there are plenty of good articles and pictures via google that show the difference...

Fine, and if your car gets stolen and the thief runs someone over or otherwise uses your car in a crime then you are responsible and go to jail as well.

What the hell, why stop there. Why not hold the sporting good store clerk responsible for crimes committed with a ball bat the he or she sold?

What kind of work do you do? I'll bet using your logic we can make a case for your prosecution for something one f your customers did.

Many people that I know who avid gun owners, hunters, etc use the term clip, even though it is technically incorrect. A magazine is made of paper and is something you read and, it's a lot harder to say "magazine" when your drunk.

I stand by my words.... If the courts do not make the gun owners responsible for their irresponsibility then it is about time someone does!!!

You didn't answer my questions, wanna try again? Your car is jus as deadly, if not more so, than my guns. So are your kitchen knives, golf clubs, ball bats,,, and the list goes on.
