After hearing the recording, it is clear the man was panicked. Perhaps not in the way someone who watches reality TV expects a person to panic, but panicked nonetheless.

His breathing gives his fear away. He sounds calm, but it is frozen fear. He even claims he had death threats. How would he have known someone might have broken in on that very day? What if his car had been in the shop and the mechanic drove him home or some similar incident? Would that have changed things?

Most burglars don't go to a basement. Perhaps this is where he spent most his time? They certainly weren't afraid of getting caught if they could see the cameras and proceeded anyways. That's pushing it! The shattering glass-a patio door? No way to keep someone from breaking glass if that's what they want to do. It's almost impossible to keep people out of anything if they really want in.

He knew someone was watching. Now, he claims, he doesn't have to live in fear.

Does this prosecutor want all citizens to either become prisoners in their own home or in the state facility? Does it really matter to this person who decides how people should live in their own home? Or, is this just an issue because this is a quaint no crime town where everyone turns their head the other way to keep up the lies?

The man who lost his prescriptions...what about the next prescription theft that takes someone's life? What about the next gun stolen?

His breathing intensifies after the girl is heard upstairs. That's real fear!

His words inside his own home should not be used against him. His own gun should not be used against him. These teens were already grown up. It wasn't a hair pulling contest at the playground. These teens are mean and often lethal! They should have been met with lethal force and they were!

This prosecutor is playing for the media. Next you'll see the teens writing an article and taunting citizens trying to tell them when to feed their cows, horses, dogs, cats, etc. and baiting a fight to make people live in fear because they think the streets are free and everyone else is their prisoner.

He is right-they were vermin. Now they are exterminated.
