What would be the reason for a cover-up? It's not like the authorities have reason to cover for any of the people possibly connected. Right? Maybe covering up their own incompetence? It's not like this was random. They have the names of all possible suspects. You're correct, maybe it is time to go to the press.

Indeed, the press need to be held accountable. Their purpose is to keep the public informed about relevant matters. I am amazed that the local, regional and state media have given up the quest for the truth in this case. I willbe very sad and disappointed if the media uses Mother's Day to memorialize this tragic event in lieu of doing what they are supposed to do: seek out and report on the truth in matters of consequence to the communities they serve.

Almost one year and still nothing. There has to be someone that knows something!!! Its heartbreaking enough to know Stacey is gone but imagining what her children/family are going through breaks my heart.. Dont you think its about time justice is served and her family has closure!! Does anyone care that a woman was murdered and a family was destroyed!!!!!!!!!!

I care Stph,I ask every day,'what can I do'? The police dont believe a word I say.I know Ed killed Stacey,I lived with this sick prick for six weeks, heard him say "DEATH BEFOR DIVORCE" many times, saw those evil eyes Stscey talked about.Heard him on speaker phone say "ILL KILL YOU" to Stacey many a night. We need faith in god,as well in Steve Rowland.Pray for the children.Thank you.

I don't care how angry I was at my son I don't think I would get drunk and cut all his hair off.And I am pretty sure I wouldn't pin him down while I was doing it,but I am positive I wouldn't use a butcher knife.but that is just me.Have a nice day.

pavlogsdog...are you saying that Eddie did what you described in your post to his son Michael?? He used a butcher knife, while drunk and holding him down, to cut his hair?? Please tell me this is not true?

take a deep breath, tip your head back as far as you can, while violently shaking it from left to right scream as loud as you can,AH,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA ,HAAAAA.Use a deep guteral voice, cause this has made us all a little crazy. If you can, use both hands and repeatedly slap yourself in the face while doing this.(like Mel Gibsen in leathal weapon)It's awsome.

"overdue for an update" Ed Burns was not the "husband" they had been divorced over 6 mos.So little has been reported you would think they could get it right.Another example of incompetence.

Wonderful to see Stacey's kids in Wolfeboro last week, Their father is doing a wonderful job picking up the pieces. The golf fundraiser that he and his family put on and sponsor and support is a testament to his love and dedication to the future of his and Staceys children.
