I hope that Carroll "Cherokee" Rittenhouse burns in hell for putting Joes family through this again. Joey didn't deserve to die. He was a good person who would do anything for you if he could. He has four boys who now don't have a dad. His youngest just turned a year old. Who gave Carroll the right to take his dad from him?

I don't know the Hall family all that well but, I know Carroll and his family. They would give you the clothes off their back if you would ask. The stories around town will go around but only they will ever know what happen. Carroll was in his own home and not hurting anyone in my eyes!! Joe must have been told top stay away a coulpe times this day by what I hear and read.So maybe he should have stayed away. I know the Rittenhouse family feels bad for the Hall family and nothing is going to bring Joe back. The brother going around saying he'd take all the Rittenhouse's out..Why? What's this gonna do? Prayers Help and will you'll through this time!! May God Bless you'll!!!

I happen to know carroll rittenhouse very well... he is my stepfather.... he took care of me, my brother and sisters when no one else would... no matter how bad i was ( and trust me i was a bad ass kid) He always did the right thing by punishing me but always had my back even against my own mother. AND I AM PROUD TO CALL HIM DAD!!! I think that the people who are wishing him in hell for defending himself should understand that its a sin to break into an old mans house when he is obviously unable to defend himself to steal his medication ( that he by the way has perscribed to him for the extreme pain that he has from an injury that he has been living with for aot of years which has left him handicapp) it is also a sin to wish anything like hell on another human being... so you may want to think that through before you wish that on someone. The man that is also threatening to take out all the rittenhouse's... well.... I may not carry the name??? but i am a rittenhouse..... come and get me.

The problem is he shot him in the back of the head and he was invited in the house. There were multiple witnesses including Carol's son who said he shot him for "no good reason."

you got that right. I have known carrol for many years, he never started trouble, but he didnt run either. where the guy got shot is of no consequence, if they were fighting. and since it happened at carroll's house, the cops should shut up and go find another meth lab.

carrol and nelson were good neighbors to my mother in law, quick to help if they were needed.
Rick, when he was younger was a lot of help to me also.

Im not calling Carol a murderer, I am not saying he wasn't defending himself and I am not badmouthing anyone. I am saying that he was charged with murder because it wasn't an open/shut self defense case.

And please, the Kenny Moore case was a joke. The man confessed to the murder and even wrote the victim's sister apologetic notes from jail. He waited 10 years, until another prosecutor was in place, and asked for a re-trial which should have never been granted by judge Cassie Bolt (main reason she wasn't relected 3 years ago). It should have went to the Ohio supreme appelet court where they could have made a decision as to whether or not he should get a new trial. It is unheard of for a local judge to grant retrials in murder cases but she did it. The problem is after 10 years all of the original evidence was unable to be located because you had a whole new prosecutor and employees. They were also not allowed to show the letter sent from jail, or play his previous confession in the courtroom. Its not the Sheriff's office's fault that the prosecutor convicted Kenny Moore and then the judge turned around and let him out and wouldn't allow evidence in the courtroom.

There you go again, In the Moore case he was covering up for is Girl friend at that time. She has actually bragged about it. And of course she is still living her life like nothing ever happened. And you can't blame no one about the file being lost either. Pike county when they switched to computer and enetered items their alot f the files were lost' They should have stored every thing properly and they would have had any evidence if any to keep him in prison. Oh and by the way Why did the State of Ohio award him so much money??? They had to investigate it dum ass....

I have to just say what I mean Cassie Bolt is in County court that is where she ran for Judge Deering is now in Court of common pleas. I guess that how much you don't know about things that go on in Pike county. I believe maybe you if you are a deputy were one of the deputies that were involved in that murder ..???

angel360: I am the moron? Cassie Bolt RAN for Common Pleas Judge and lost to Randy Deering. She was then placed into the position of county court because there was no judge - she wasn't elected as county court judge she was placed their by the state. Get your facts straight before you start calling names.

OH , shut up. Kenny was railroaded and you know it. He had no trace evidence on him, she did, he had no blood spatter on him, that other guy did. OF course, he might have apologized after the trial. he was raised right, THIS I KNOW.

600,000 IS NOT ENOUGH AND THE PROSECUTOR SHOULD HAVE TO PAY IT.
