I don't think you are correct. I suspect this is just propaganda from the gun lobby to justify killing children. Even if it were true, that does not justify killing the child. Zimmerman didn't know any of that, and he just killed a child. If any of that were true, Martin would still deserve his day in court. Let a judge decide, not some random street thug like Zimmerman.
The jury decided. There wasn't a shred of evidence to even bring him up on charges but Z was a victim of malicious prosecution. His very average attorneys should have filed charges against all of them.

Oh, I see. We must forget everything Zimmerman said, and everything the police said, and everything the prosecution said, and what the defense said, and just believe the NRA.
Perhaps you have heard the comments from one of the people on the jury? She said she knew Zimmerman was guilty, but could not convict because the court told her that was not allowed. Great justice system you have there.
Zimmerman defending his life?? Now that is a good one. Maybe Jay Leno could use that in his monologue tonight.
Was this juror black? Let me guess.....<rolleyes> You can't convict unless you have evidence. No doubt she wanted to convict Z because she was a racist. The courts frown on that, you know.

Good point. Didn't think of that. Lately it seems I have to do an awful lot of reminding myself to look at things from a racist point of view in order to comprehend it. Not a good sign of the times.

<quoted text>Really??? It's proper to kill the children in the neighborhood you are supposed to protect? I had a different view of what a member of a neighborhood watch was supposed to do.

So if I join my neighborhood watch I can kill my neighbor's children. Just push them enough to get them to react then shoot them through the heart. Oh, and I need to hold my gun right in front of my face so I can look like I was attacked.

Maybe you can take a vacation to Florida and go for a walk in the evening, just think of how exciting that might be. But be sure to take a loaded gun, you might encounter a Zimmerman. Remember whoever shoots first wins.

I do wonder how much of a hit the tourist industry in Florida will suffer. I know many who have canceled plans.
Yeah all the blacks whom can't afford to travel at least not without robbing someone first. Oh I signed the credit card slip with the wrong name my bad.

Oh well, that was short-lived. Turns out Stevie Wonder is the only performer who can actually afford to boycott Florida. Mr. Wonder stated "until the 'Stand Your Ground' law is abolished in Florida, I will never perform there again," nor will he perform in any other state or country that has such laws, he added.
At this point, not one performer has actually cancelled performances. Mr. Wonder didn't have any appearances scheduled in Florida and Timberlake, Madonna, JayZ, Beyonce, Usher, Kanye West and a whole bunch of others made a lot of noise about it but have as of yet to stop selling tickets for their scheduled events. As amatter of fact, i just checked the ticket agency and there are still tickets available for the Timberlake/JayZ concert in Miami on August 16.
Hmmm..........

Probably because they realized there are 37 states with SYG laws. That would seriously cut into their profits and they still need to pay for their 30 bedroom 60 bath mansions.

Thank you for looking out for your community. I do the same and actually had police here in time to witness people leaving 2 separate burglaries.
Thank you also. People have to look out for their neighbors because the cops can't be everywhere, and the city can only hire so many cops(not enough money). As far as Don Juan Joe, that loser is totally clueless. Neighborhood watch is not a license to kill, but if you are attacked, you can defend yourself.

The jury was told what the evidence was, and there wasn't evidence that a murder, or manslaughter was committed. Got it, no evidence. There never should have been a trial. You cannot convict someone on the way you feel. You have to have evidence. The Juror was wrong. No murder was committed.

Liberals judge everything by how they feel regardless of the truth, or evidence. They have created a pretend world where if you disagree with Obama regardless of the facts you are a racist. And he plays right into their hands with fairy tales about bad Republicans, and phony scandals. Americans today are like being Alice in Wonderland.

With that attitude, Zimmerman would have be on a slab, and the blacks would have still been screaming racial hate because Trayvon was on trial for murder.

Sadly, welfare has become a career opportunity for some, mostly inner cities and liberal ran towns and states. It's one of the ways they can guarantee votes at election time.

Libs really do say things like that.

And they're closet gay bashers too.

Who act out by attacking gays they think are following them at night, knocking them to the sidewalk, and trying to beat them to death.
