The fatal shooting of Colorado's top prisons official when he answered the front door at his house highlights a troubling reality for the nation's judges, prosecutors and other legal officials: At a time when attacks on them are rising, it's difficult for them to remain secure, even when they are off duty.

I think it is terrible-what a horrific thing to do. I am a felon and cannot imagine the extreme stress that law officials are under. To have to worry about their families safety as well as their own.
This is very sad-I know the law will catch this creep!!

If you are a cop, or a prison gaurd, or a prosecutor or a Judge, you have probably sent or held innocent people in jail. Cops lie all the time in court and railroad people into prison. They kill people and get away with it. So the trade off for thier power trip is that alot of people want to kill them. They have to look over their shoulders for the rest of thier miserable lives. Good. When you take that job it is your choice, police perjury makes them a legitimate target.
