This gun violence is out of control. First, Aurora and the Dark Knight massacre, then Sherman Helmsley and now this. When will we wake up and pass some serious gun legislation to keep miscreants from running wild and shooting up everybody? I hope Beto is formulating a plan to introduce a bill on his first day in office to ban all unfit people from carrying heat.

Guns don't kill people, people kill people.

Sherman hemsley died of natural causes. No guns present.

The guy was suicidal and probably passed the background or bought the gun from a gun show. There is nothing in the Texas Code that prohibits killing yourself. There is one for aiding suicide. Beto is going to try to introduce legalization of Marijuana not gun control.

Just what we need - legal grass and guns in abundance. We may be headed back tot he Wild, wild West days. I guess I never realized that there was no law against suicide but it makes sense because it would be hard to prosecute those guilty of it.

You people need to have more respect for the individuals family and the dead. Have a heart people and mind your own business, you don't know what that man went through or what the family is going through right now. Just be good people and keep the man and his family in our prayers.

Dante was very loving and probably one of thee most caring persons I've met. He loved his family and his son T.. very, very much. All he seemed to have wanted was a better life; a way out of all the bad out there. I know he did make several attempts in doing so, but apparently the devil has ways. Don't be so quick to judge the headlines! Yes he had issues with drugs, gangs, weapons, but he longed for a way out and strived for something better everyday. Dante will be missed very much. My prayers remain with his soul as well as his family and friends who cared for him too. RIP

Thank you for your kind words. Sometimes people just don't understand the pressures and difficulties of life.

That's very true Yvonne. But you don't have to kill yourself. Like with me when I come to the topix forum and petro and AA McCoy give me alot of pressure and difficulties and make me cry gay porn is just one click away to make me feel better.
