Alexandria Police Shield Information on Officer-Involved Shooting
#1 Feb 22, 2013
As for how many officers fired-what does it matter? The fact that the officer(s) saw a threat and decided that firing was the only means to protect themselves, and potentially others, should be enough. The subject clearly posed a threat. On the topic of the amount of information disclosed-there are obviously other issues that our country has kept under wraps that should be disclosed but aren't (ahem, the President's college transcripts, for example), doesn't this Police Department have the right to shield certain information that could protect officers?
