ya know when I read Severin Simpsoms obituary it said that his nickname was POPPA, which led me to think he had a child. Reading on, I found that he did not. Now I read on here that POPPA is negro slang for a small gun! Holy smoke, what kind of sh7t is the news media trying to shove down our throats anyway??????????

What is ur point here? When I lived In Memphis "they" nicknamed me "killer CAM". My nickname didn't suggest that I had killed someone but it did suggest that I was crazy being the only white kid on that street. I'm just trying to see your point and I don't think you have one my friend. Are we still trying to stick up for Mr. Bryant? By all means that's fine now but if they find him guilty It should change your minds a little. I'm sure it wont because much of the people in this area have a racist up bringing to their family's. Hey but I'm not the one to judge only the one above will judge and you will have to answer when it's your call.

When I lived in a Black neighborhood before moving to CV... All the women would call be Long Dong Silver, because of the truth behind my Dong.

So, the nickname given to you, can definitely pertain to truth. Also, you really need to stop throwing in the race card, when addressing the fine folk that live in Sharp Co. Has the White race done something to you to make you feel bitter towards them?

Please share with us. And Happy Martin Luther King Day to you and the Bro's!

Joe, no the white race has done nothing to me there buddy. But the comments on this forum have led me to believe that there are lots of racist people around here. Why such a smatass there Joe? Silver long dong??? You sure they didn't call you "little snake in the grass" or " pack of little smokeys"? Your not one of these white trash hillbillies that live in a trailer house are you? You know the fine American scholar that's living off the government? If they didn't give it away maybe all the trash piled around their trailer home with a care or 3 with trees growing thru the hoods? Wait, I can't be talking about the "fine people" of sharp county. Ps.... I love all different kinds of race as long as their hard working, true American workers. Oh please write back soon this is the only thing I have to live for.

The fact you are talking about your private parts on a public forum shows just what fine citizens you are in Sharp County. lol. And three of the people in the car that night, that was delivering drugs over two counties all night long were from Sharp County. One person in the car allegedly murdered someone was from Sharp County. You have some fine folks there in Sharp County. I would be so proud. lol

Why such a smatass there Joe? Silver long dong??? smatass? If you are trying to say "smartass" I am far from being that, just making a point on the use of nick names. If you would comprehend what I wrote, my nickname in the hood was, Long Dong Silver. Not silver long dong.

Oh please write back soon? OK, but when I do please try to comprehend, otherwise people like you are a waste of my time.

my point is this, since the day of the incident, the area newspapers had OVER sensationalized this story to the point of shaping public opinion against chris

so many untruths and misperceptions....like cold blooded killer, point blank range, dealing drugs is just hanging out,and on and on, even let Heather King excliusively tell the spring river chronicle that she believed he was a psycho....

this person that was killed was not just an innocent victim. It was him that came and got chris in the middle of the night to go with him on his deal. whatever it was, was scary enough that chris thoughte he needed a gun

chris says he is not guilty and when i think of the deal i am going to put things into perspective. this victim was a huge man
dealt drugs and was named after a concealed gun. chris was a hard working kid who would not weigh 120 soaking wet.

It will all come out at trial I'm sure.... The facts we know are: their were 4 people in the car which were up to no good at 4am., someone was carrying mr. Bryant's hand gun, someone was shot by mr. Bryant's handgun ( this doesn't look good for him either way you look at it), and two people ran from the car ( this don't look good either....leavinof the scene of an accident).
The things we will find out at trial: who shot mr. Simpson, why were they out so late at night, who is telling the truth, if there were two shots from the handgun, and how many years they will be getting.
The bad thing is this really won't teach anyone any lessons....:(

and it sure dont look good for the girlfriend either who has already explained why her prints would be on the gun and why she ran even tho bryant ran in the opposite direction and her denial of drug use and why she was pointing the finger of guilt at bryant even though she admits she did not see him do it and she was leaning against him..........very strange story

I'm not a sick person at all, and it's not because I'm annoyed with you fools that I hope he gets life. I believe in the law, and think if he took a life he deserves life in prison.

so if you believe in the law then you must believe he is innocent until proven guilty

Yea typically, but lets look at some facts he chose to carry a gun. He chose to keep it in the back seat. He chose to continuously move the gun around. Those choices led to the death of a sweet man. Whether he shot Severin or not( however seeing that he fled the scene And did not even try to call for help his actions leads one to believe he is guilty)those choices led to the sorrow of one of the sweetest men I have ever met. What I am annoyed with is all it seems anyone on this page wants to do is talk about poor Chris. According to you guys it had to be Severin's fault or the girls fault but definitely not your sweet Chris' fault. That is what I'm annoyed with. His bad choices ultimately led to early death of a young man.

What would you call a "sweet man" dealing drugs to your children?

It don't matter what I type in your eyes Severin was evil, and Chris is a sweet innocent man being wrongly accused. I have much better things to do with my time than argue my point with you. Time will tell what or partially what happened.
