Suspect killed in E. Idaho police shooting

Blackfoot Police Chief Dave Moore says the shooting occurred Monday after the 24-year-old man fled the scene then later threatened a police officer with a hand gun. via KMVT Twin Falls

I knew the family of the 24-year-old man and I think that the cops in Blackfoot ID need to start wearing bullet proof vest. That way if this were to happen again then they wouldn't have to take some ones life. They should be prepared for any situation that may happen in the future. I am not very happy with the way the police handled this because it has hurt so many people. What's done has been done and no one can change that. I would like to ask the police to think about all the possibilities before any one else gets hurt or killed again! Thank you for your time.

Give me a friggin break! The guy that was shot was a complete scumbag and was trying to shoot the cop. If he would have not faught the officer in the first place and tried to shoot him, the fleabag would still be alive. Either way, one less scumbag on the streets.
