Her excuse for being at the pond was that she wanted to find the gun because she believed that the police would believe it was her. Just because a gun was found in the pond???? She didn't know that the friend had called the police - I don't know - I think she's guilty, but I'm glad she didn't get the death penalty as I do not believe in it.
Okay!! So if someone supposedly broke into their home and killed her husband then how would she know where the murderer threw the weapon????(Because she did it, and she knew exactly where she threw the gun... what she didn't know is while she was trying to cover her tracks, the police and diver's had already retrieved the weapon and video taped her in action.) She should be so ashamed of herself, look what she did to their poor little boy's. She should be so greatful that they even let her live.

I just can't figure something out about that .22 caliber shell casing that was found in the trash can inside that latex glove which is the prosecution's best ?? hard evidence against her. I am guessing because I didn't hear one way or that the gun retrieved from the pond was the murder weapon because so much was made about where they found it and her efforts (on video) to go back for it. All the photos I have seen, the victim's own fathers statement (about giving him the gun) and from Police video I saw on TV all show that gun as being a revolver. Revolvers do not eject the shells when they are fired. I can't figure out where the shell casing came from. If she is indeed guilty, why did she take the shell casing out of the murder weapon, roll it into a latex glove and put it in the trash can to be found when she went out of her way to dispose of the gun. It doesn't make sense.
She is a nurse. When you are in the medical field you will pick up trash and what not and take off your gloves and roll your gloves off.Your gloves will end up inside out so you will not get germs on you. What you have in your hand gets trapped in the glove. She did it without thinking because thats the way she takes her gloves off. She got herself busted. Dumb Bitch!

you make a great point everyone is just looking at the things that she did wrong as far as the 911 convo and the guns being outside but yall need to focus on the stuff that doesnt make sense as well the police need to explain why there was never pics taken when they found the glove and shell and why would she get rid of the gun but not the bullet and why would she put the bullet in her own trash can when she gave the police permission to search her house just think about that u think she forgot that the shell was in the trash can revolvers dont pop out shells also why is the guy that set her up saying there conversation was recorded but the police are saying it wasnt recorded that needs to be explained and why did the police think she did it the first 7 minutes arriving to the house they havent even investigated yet so why would they have preconceived notions that early that neeeds to be explained also did they have a crime seen or ictures when they found the gun in the lake why dnt they have that and it sounds like the guy set her up as well cause he told her to meet him at the pond and told her the gun was there so she might of been curious to see if it really was we just dont know if she really put it there i think she wouldhave looked for it at night time so know one would see her and she was also looking for the gun at the beginning of the pond who would set the gun right there if anything she would have thrown deep in the middle of the pond so those are the questions that we need to ask and sense those havent been answered this case can go both ways so based on all the eveidence and a lack of nt proving certain things she shouldnt have been convicted cause u can also look at this as the cops really trying to plant evidence in this case cause theres know way possible they would have found a glove with the bullet but dont take no pics so u take pics of everything in the house but the main piece of evidence when u answer this questions really think about what im saying and be open minded please we can trust the statements of a cop seriously they need to prove temselves as well cause the two main things of evidence might not of really happen and this case could have been different

Since when have any of u actually talked to Darlene? Since when have any of u became GOD? Just asking since ur judging her!!

None of us have to speak to Darlene to see her for what she is a COLD BLOODED KILLER. She was judged based on all the evidence against her. The evidence spoke loudly enough for her to be judged guilty by the jury.

You think she was set up? Why did she go to the exact location the gun was found by police? As a nurse why didn't she examine her husband for injury and administer first aid and why was there no sign of forced entry into her home or the cabinet holding the guns? The evidence in this case is VERY clear

everyone keeps saying no picture of the glove with the shell casing in it but it's on video...also they didn't say it was her in the first seven minutes. The officer just made the comment things didn't look right. If you are a seasoned officer and you respond to a crime scene you notice if things aren't "normal". Yes every crime scene is different but things at the scene can set off red flags just like this case did. And the bottom line is she had a trial and a jury convicted her on the evidence they were presented. I don't know if she is guilty or not but there sure were things that made her look guilty. So now three young boys have lost their father and their mother. I just saw a program on this last night and I wondered where any member of her side of the family was because all I saw was the husband's family. Thank God for them and that they are able to raise those precious boys.

As a Registered Nurse myself, I don't see any reason why Darlene G would have to be trying to protect herself from her husband's blood by using gloves. She said she used gloves when checking her husband's blood sugar. She also said she has 3 children in which he had impregnated her! So did he contract some disease since then that she later had to protect herself from his bodily fluids?! The gloves were only used to keep her fingerprints off anything with his blood on it WHEN SHE KILLED HIM. I am embarrassed to know that someone with her IQ ,reasoning, and mental state made it through nursing school and into the same profession as I did. It is a profession to care for other people and to help them feel better, not to play God and take their life away. I'm sickened!!

I must be the only one that thinks she's innocent. I mean, from the second she went to talk to the police they were always ransacking her home and focused on her.

If she was guilty, why not take the plea bargain and accept a lesser sentence? Why maintain your innocence?

Why would you allow cops to search your house but leave the evidence in the trash can?

Wake up people! She is framed.

I believe she is innocent. Unless a person is a very talented actor/actress, the are unable to cry on cue. Darlene shed a few tears on the Snapped show. Did the state test for Darlene's fingerprints on the gun? Did the state do ballistics testing to determine if the bullet which killed Keith came from the gun Darlene allegedly used?

Thanks to the prosecutor's stupidity, Darlene probably now has a girlfriend.

If Darlene was an ugly broad, no one would give the slightest thought to her being innocent. The American courts are biased in many ways, including racist, but it is even more biased when it comes o pretty blondes.(And I don't think she's even pretty.) It is obvious that she killed her husband in cold blood while he slept. How low can you get!?
