I will be writing a letter to the State Represenative and District Attorney. This man should not have bail reduced. He is a serious flight risk. This is very upsetting!!

This man is a danger to anyone and everyone. This should be a public outcry!! The Judge, I pray, should be a bit more stricter in his Decision to put not only the public at risk but all children in this area too. This is UNEXCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!

I agree with you that this guy should never have gotten his bond reduced, but it almost seemed like the judge made it harder for him to get out because now he has to come up with $200,000 cash instead of the $75,000 his dad couldn't make. Still I don't know what the judge was thinking. I know this town and the people that live there and he may not make it to trial if they get him out.

I would like to know why there has not been another word about this case in the paper. In the end of year 10 top local stories in the INDEX it was not mentioned. What some may not know is right after this happened another man, over 6 foot tall and over 200 pounds, was tried and convicted of mudering his girlfriends 2 year old here in our county. What is wrong that this can happen twice in one year in a little county like ours.

I don't understand were all these people are getting that Bell is a flight risk. Like another person said there has not been anything else mentioned about this cause since it originated. If all this is so true, don't you think there would still be an uproar and the county would have already persicuted him. Or maybe they don't have anything on him and should just let him go. Palo Pinto County has some real issues with there system, holding this man this long without persicution. I don't know exact details, but holding people this long has happened in the past. They need to do something this is ruining this mans and his families life. I think I might write a letter to the State Rep. And the District Attorny as well, to let them know how the county has been about this cause.

Maybe you folks who seem to think this is all a county problem should call and ask somebody that really knows.... You are all obviously uninformed... It is not the county that is holding up the trial .....There are reasons ... But no fault by the county ...

Is this guy still in Jail? Is there a trial date yet? Just curious about what is going on with this case. Everyone is awful quite and no information is given.

Chester Marion Bell IV or Cuatro or Cuatty as I know him was a big brother to me completely throughout my young life. A particular instance in 2006 I broke my femur playing a football game in Wichita Falls, Tx. Soon after my brother told Cuatro what happened they were both there in the hospital with me within a matter of an hour. First meeting Cuatro around 9-10 years old, he was always someone I have looked up to. Still, to this day I share the same beliefs. Cuatro is a good man, dang good man. There are two sides of every story. This case just shows first hand how screwed up Americas Judicial System is. One thing for certain, I miss Cuatro very, very, very much and I know first hand that so many people feel the very same way.
Thats my input on the situation. God Bless.
