i live on the same block as the killing. its terrible what happened. I dont feel safe in my house knowing what happened. this has hit too close to home. to close to my kids. i didnt buy a home in the hood so why are the sherriffs and the city of santa fe springs not doing more to clean up the city! the guy who is suspected of shooting his "visitor" has a record! he is not new to this or running from the cops! he had just gotten out of jail after serving 8-10.
why werent the sherriffs keeping a closer eye on him and his residents. to much traffic coming and going from this house. this is not the first time something has happened at this house. unfortunately it has lead to the killing of someone who has a mother, family and children! come on city of santa fe springs start cracking down on all this gang activity happening in your city and mine!

Well I personally don't think they are related but it is really sad for the families of both young men. I was a step mother to the one killed in the garage. It is just really sad!! His family is all mostly in Nevada. My prayers are with his family I don't care what anyone says!!!!!

As previously mentioned, "parolee's gone wild" Be prepared folks, the state will be releasing more of these "non-violent" offenders into our neighborhoods very soon. Our elected policiticians don't care. Our police are overwhelmed. It's up to us good citizen's to report all that does not look right. And lastly, purchase a reliable firearm!

What's your point and what does it matter who was here hundreds of years ago? If you read the article, it states that Gerald Luis Gonzalez is the suspect - those are the facts. Nobody on this board is an educated expert historian like you, but I'll bet anything that the suspect isn't asian, black, or white. Also, this crime wasn't imported by "white trash" from across the ocean as you imply, somebody was shot. Read a paper and look what's going on in Mexico these days - or you could simply ignore it and pretend like it's not happening.

Hell there were killings all over the united states long before the drug wars started in Mexico why do we always have to point the finger at someone else. we ourselves have lost control of our kids. Gerald was a relative and my heart is broken for his family and the only person i blame is the person that pulled the trigger.

We need to join together as a community and deem these actions as unacceptable and also take our own actions as a community and use all necessary force against tyranny in our neighborhoods. We must stand together and fight fire with fire. Kill all gang members and take our streets back. If they look like a duck then lets go duck hunting and take the law into our own hands. We must end this domestic terrorism with all force. So, if you see one - shoot one, and kill until they are all dead. I'm calling on all colors and ethnicities to stand together in our community and kill them. If you don't then we will continue to complain.

You don't have to be "from Mexico" to have a name like Gerald Luis Gonzalez! What does his nationality have to do with this anyway? There's people of all nationalities who commit crimes, murder, rape...etc! Blaming it on his nationality is just ignorant! I can guarantee that Gerald WASN'T part of what's going on in Mexico...if that makes u feel any better!
