Judge rules against defense... Profiling, vigilante, wannabe cop, all fair game in opening statements for prosecution...
Those all can be successfully defeated and countered.
What's wrong with wanting to be a cop? Nothing these days. Since 9-11, they have been portrayed as heros along with the firemen. Rightfully so.
Vigilante? Nope. He called 911 FIRST. Remember?
Profiling? In your own neighborhood? Who does that? EVERYONE.

Prosecution will save a little money though. Their paid speech "experts" won't get their witness stand bennies.

Pay attention much? The controversial expert voice analyst was originally contacted by the defense.

Wannabe cop describes a mindset that most if not all are familiar with, same with little man syndrome, Napolean complex etc. George had taken the coursework necessary to become a cop although he did poorly, not getting his certificate. He had also applied for work at a LE agency in VA. That agency wasn't interested.

Btw George didn't call 911 but direct dialed the Sanford Police Department non emergency number and spoke to a police dispatcher.
Maybe we'll get to see that guy testify this week, opening arguments begin shortly. Lol, your boy Tray spent over a year believing it was a lady...he's a regular genius.

A logical fact based response.

"analyst"? SIngular?
There were like five or so of them. Three, in particular were paid for and retained by the prosecution for their paid for testimony in support of the prosecution's case. The hearing was delayed because oneof them wasa stuck on a plane. Oh well, he got a plane ride out of the deal. No national spotlight on the stand tho. Poor little thing.
poof went the prosecution's "witnesses", and poof went your irelevant moot point.
Pay attention much?

Zimmerman will walk.
He has to now.
It is the only way the state can keep the pot stirred.

If Z gets time, no one riots. The whites won't. The Latinos won't. No riots. No deaths from the riots. No crisis to take advantage.

Z walks. Blacks riot. The progressives gain a twofold talking point.
Gun control.
Justice system overhaul.

Nothing is wrong with "wanting" to be a cop. The problem lies in Zimmerman's case is that "they wouldnt let him be a cop". Now we open doors into the Zimmerman psyche, bitterness, violent behavoir, MMA fight club training, and "wanna-be cop" takes a whole new meaning...doesnt it?

Did he call 911? Or did he call the SPD non-emergency tip-line? If YOU are looking committ a legal murder in vigilante fashion, you would think it would be prudent to establish some kinda story first right? And call the non-emergency line, so you know you at least have 7-10 min before the real cops show up.

And who sticks a 9MM in their waistband and pulls it out on kid because the "dont look like they belong"? ONLY A SELECT FEW. Sure were all guilty of profiling, fortunately, most of us are smart enough not to act on it. Hopefully, the Zimmerman case will give some of you nutbags with wet dreams about killing someone pause before you choose to act.

George will become well versed in this ^ kind of party in prison, wont he? Or instead of the "crack party", he may prefer the cockmeat sandwich? Who knows. I still expect him to make some kind of plea deal for softer jail time...

It would appear that as a person following this thread/topic for quite some time now, that you are prepping for the alternative outcome you so vehemently denied would occour. Care to elaborate here?

You forgot something. Something important.
The jurors are women. All of them.
The original point was that they are women and you said that was to the advantage of the prosecution. Logic and reason is not how you manipulate women. It is emotion that is the effective tool in that arena.

Thats not lost on me. I think the all woman jury hurts Zimmerman. Armed fight club member with a violent past vs. Unarmed tennager w/ a case of the munchies. Who's your mama going to side with? Be honest now! <smile>

Sounds like your laying down the baseline of reasoning if/why Zimmerman is convicted...So if/when it happens, you can say "well damn those progressive that needed this as a talking point for gun control" BS. If/when Zimmerman is convicted, its because hes a criminal, and daddy cant get him off the hook this time. Plain and simple. If/when he is is aquitted, he's still a criminal, and undoubtly that wont be the last u hear about George Zimmerman. Personally, I think there are couple people people on the jury that dont agree with murder, but feel he is responsible for Martin's death, and the jury has a whole comes down with a Manslaughter verdict. Zimmerman does 5 years.
