Joe you need to go look at his Facebook pictures and see the two black eyes he posted of himself. He is a good kid that couldn't take no more abuse.

I am sure he is a great kid, he just made a little mistake and killed his dad. Every one makes mistakes.

A child doesn't just decide to shoot they're parent for no reason. From what people are saying he sounds like a good kid, he's not a trouble maker or get in trouble with the school or the police dept, there has to be a reason. I personally believe the kids story, a person can only take so much abuse and he went and told a adult what happened and he didn't run when they called 911.

I have done things without thinking, murder is no one of them. Most people don't murder other people. That's nice he didn't run away after he killed his father. It would have been nice if he had run away before he killed him.

He was a scared child , and if my child shot me I'd still love him no matter what. If I abused him in anyway then I got what I deserved.

You make some big assumptions private. You don't know that he was scared and you don't know the father got what ,in your opinion, he deserved. You did not live in that house and don't know what went on. You just assume this young man was justified in killing another person. As far as we know, he killed an unarmed man who at that point was no threat to him.. I don't think the courts will find that "being scared" is justification for killing an unarmed man. Anyone could say " I was abused, I was scared, I gave the person what he deserved" as a defense. That is scary. It is also a defense that won't fly. Who are you to decide another person deserves to die.. You don't know all the facts. and if you did know how bad things supposedly were before this happened and you did nothing you are partially responsible for one man's death and his son's lengthy prison stay You don't know how this young man treated his father or what may have provoked the alleged abuse. You don't know if one or both of the people involve have a mental illness. There too many factors that you don't know to conclude this murder was justifiable. That is why we have a court system that hopefully will make rulings based on facts, not just assumptions..

You know what eat your own words because you don't know either what went through this young boys mind or how he was treated. I do know anyone who hurts a child especially mine will get what he deserves!!!

And according to you that is death. Unfortunately for this young murderer, our laws don't allow someone to kill when their life is not in danger. We have a civilized society and laws. We don't live in the jungle here

And I feel like I'm having a discussion with someone who isn't a parent and has no heart or love for a child.

I have three children and plenty of heart for children, just not for children who kill their own parents. So is it your opinion that he should walk away scot free? No jail time at all?

I never said he shouldn't be punished , I said he shouldn't be tried as an adult because he isn't one .

But if his dad got what he deserved, why should he be punished?
