If you think gun control legislation hasnít moved in this country since the Newtown shooting, think again. Thereís been plenty of activity in the states, even though no gun legislation has passed through Congress. And while states that passed tougher restrictions on gun ownership receive plenty of attention, several states have moved in the opposite direction.

Lawmakers in Connecticut, one of the latest states to take action, approved a package early Thursday beefing up gun laws. Hereís a look at states that have passed or considered gun legislation since the Newtown shooting:

Yup, and lawmakers are getting tossed out left and right that pass the unconstitutional 'laws'. Just wait until 2014-16, then you'll REALLY see some heads roll.

Ever notice how every time an antigun bill is proposed in the Congress or Legislatures a shooting rampage happens ? Coincidence ? Police will deliberately instigate school shootings (or teen shootings) to help justify more gun control .

"Mr. Henry for it. Says that a preparation for Warr is Necessary to obtain peace--That America is not Now in a State of peace--That all the Bulwarks, of Our Safety, of Our Constitn. are thrown down, That We are Now in a State of Nature--That We ought to ask Ourselves the Question should the planns of Nonim [portatio] n & Nonexp [oratio] n fail of success--in that Case Arms are Necessary, & if then, it is Necessary Now. Arms are a Resource to which We shall be forced, a Resource afforded Us by God &c.; Nature, & why in the Name of both are We to hesitate providing them Now whilst in Our power."-- Silas Deane's Diary, Oct. 3, 1774.[Letters of Delegates to Congress: Volume 1 AUGUST 1774 - AUGUST 1775]

So then, you think that the America that was once free. Should be turned into a concentration camp? Preserve freedom and liberty by eliminating it?

Have you though about moving to a communist or socialist country?

"We established, however, some although not all its important principles. The constitutions of most of our States assert that all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise it by themselves, in all cases to which they think themselves competent (as in electing their functionaries executive and legislative, and deciding by a jury of themselves, in all judiciary cases in which any fact is involved), or they may act by representatives, freely and equally chosen; that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed; that they are entitled to freedom of person, freedom of religion, freedom of property, and freedom of the press."--Thomas Jefferson, To John Cartwright. vii, 356.(M., 1824.)(Jefferson Cyclopedia).

You do understand what "all time armed" means, right?

"To preserve liberty, it is essential that the WHOLE BODY of PEOPLE always POSSESS ARMS, and be taught alike especially when young, how to use them."--Richard Henry Lee, Additional Letters From The Federal Farmer, 53 (1788).[Walter Bennett, ed., Letters from the Federal Farmer to the Republican, at 21,22,124 [Univ. of Alabama Press,1975]

[Richard Henry] "Lee remained involved in politics. He was appointed delegate to the Continental Congress in 1775, and was one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. He served next in the Virginia House of Delegates in 1777, 1780, and 1785.

"Led opposition to Constitution

"When the Constitution was laid before Congress, Lee led the opposition to it. His chief concern was that the Convention, called only to amend the Articles of Confederation, had exceeded its powers.

"He worried also that the Constitution lacked a bill of rights; that it was a consolidated, rather than a federal, government and therefore opened the way to despotism; and that the lower house was not sufficiently democratic. He insisted upon amendments before adoption. His arguments were set forth in a series of ďLetters of the Federal FarmerĒ which became a textbook for the opposition.
Senator in a new government

"Through the instrumentality of his friend Patrick Henry, Lee was chosen one of Virginiaís senators in the new government, and his chief concern in the Senate was to bring to fruition the amendments that he had advocated. Some of his propositions were embodied in the first ten amendments, and the verdict of time appears to have sustained their wisdom. In October 1792, broken in health, he resigned his senatorial seat and retired to Chantilly, where he died on June 19, 1794.

No never said that. I said like big city schools there is medal detectors to keep all weapons out and children safe.

Your way still allows crazy people to bring guns and knives into school.
