what does it matter i lost a child because of a drunk driver took a 2500lb truck and hit my car and killed her just days before her birthday and he only served 3 years. but in this case there is two side of the story we only know one. and if her family didn't care for Jones they will say anything..

I don't think iot is an option at this point but this guy got away with murder plain and simple and the entire population of the state of PA should be appalled at the prosocutorial misconduct in this case. Mr Fogal should be investigated to the fullest.

Anyone can pass a lie detector test as easily as fail one that is why they can't be used to prosecute someone - and anyone can boo hoo....

As the parents stated and with overwhelming public support this case and his story reek of mis-conduct and cover up - all the secret hearings, pleadings, withheld statements etc etc.

I just hope the parent have the fortitude to take this as far as they can whatever relief there may be because they and their daughter sure didn't get justice in this court.

I am a republican but will vote for anyone but Fogal...lets just hope there is a choice on the ballot..if not I will write someone in.

Disgusting...just Disgusting

and they called a swat team in to revoke the bond of someone trying to protect his family?? And we won't even mention the other case....what the hell is going on in Franklin County Court?

I guess you were also ranting when OJ walked. At least this guy is going to spend 6 years in jail.

This "deal" stinks. Why on earth wouldn't he get 20 years with no parole? 6-12 years, what a travesty. I will not vote for Fogal. Let him make his $160,000 somewhere else. Rediculous!

Dave we don't agree on anything..however you make a very good point here...I am surprised you even said it since the other writer was impying race...I speculate it was just plain old favoritism

Be curious as to why the mother told her daughter to go back and try to make things work when she told her she wanted a divorce.

I hope that the Runyon family can finally have some sort of peace. We are neighbours of Kristin's and this has been a crazy year to say the least. No one wants to believe that anyone can kill another human being but it happens dozens of times every day. What sickens me is the fact that this loser walked amongst us in our small community and as soon as things were not going his way he "accidently" shoots his wife whom he loved so dearly. I am glad that one of the neighbour kids didn't p*ss him off. Or lets say there was an intruder and it was a troubled teenager with a drug problem looking for a quick fix? There would have been a dead youth. Would stricter gun laws helped prevent this? I do not think there is a simple black n white awnser but we as a society need to work together and try and make our lives and the lives of those around us comfortable and care free. Life really is too short and we lost a beautiful young person for nothing !!
My only prayer today is that Mr Jones gets justice in prison !!!

I still don't understand how their rocky marriage and talk of divorce wasn't included in the trial.

I wonder if Foley is ready to talk now?

He sure was mum a few days ago.

I swear you guys can never be happy with the out come unless he got death! But i gaurentee that if you were in the Chris's footsteps it would be different. But seeing how you all feel makes me wonder how you can call your selves human? You spectualate every last piece of fact that you are hearing from anyone. Its funny how there are two sides but no one wants to hear or even take in to consideration what you would do if you had the same **** circumstance happen to your self. I would love to see how each one of you would have done that nite that it happened. But then you know that you all seem so **** perfect in your ******kin lifes.
Give it a rest, "Betty." Nobody's buying that line of ****. Just be happy you'll have State Pen visiting days on Thursday. The people who loved Kristi are left with only a memory. Don't incite the people on this thread. You are grossly outnumbered.

If one of your young people break into my house for a fix they would get the same results from most people I know. Now days you don't have time to wait and ask an intruder if they will hurt you or shoot you.

Settle down you hicks. You all possess a fraction of the IQ of the district attorney, the investigating officers, and the judge.

So sit there, keep your mouths shut, and pay your taxes.

Domestic violence is a rapidly increasing problem. The only agency in this area that provides help to victims is Women in Need and they do it on a shoestring in substandard conditions. Please consider a donation of money, supplies or your time to WIN. They seek no publicity and aren't looking for any awards. They just want to end domestic and sexual abuse and put themselves out of business. Unfortunately they seem to be in a growth industry.

TA-DA!!

Franklin County comes through again as usual.

"Meyers sentenced Jones to 6 to 12 years in state prison and a fine of $5,000. The maximum sentence would have been 20 years in prison and a fine of $25,000."

Actually I'm shocked he wasn't just sent to the Day Reporting Center.
