You can only push someone so far..especially a mother trying to protect her children..kids dont make that stuff up..don-rat..of course her uncle molested her...he signed his own death warrant when he laughed at her...he was an animal. i hope she never has to go to prison.

I see the child molesting brother of Cory took his side. He deserves the same fate as Cory too bad she couldn't take out Coy too. The entire clan is a bunch of perverts.

She is a Hero! I wish every parent whose child was sexually abused would do that. I would have done that without any hesitation if my daughter told me about it right away, not 6 years later. She was only 12. She never told me who did that and we live in another country now. One would never know what abused child and her (his) family have to go thru unless he walked in their shoes. That pain never heals and there is no medicine to relieve it. Just remember "The prince of tides" movie. Society has obligation to protect its children and impose death penalty for child molesters. This is the most heinous crime ever. We can't call ourselves human if we allow those people to get away with a minimum punishment. Until that happens- eye for an eye. That will sure stop many others

Dear Citizens of the US. We live in a country where people are blessed with having the right to due process and a fair trail. We are not permitted to stone a woman in the streets because her husband accuses her of being unfaithful in marriage. We are not permitted to shoot individuals accused of rape, even when accused of raping a minor. We live in a society with a established rule of law that prevents Lynch Mobs from dragging individuals into the streets and hanging them. Do not praise someone for commiting a crime. One injustice does not justify another. Truth be told, his life in prison as a child rapist (if convicted) would have been very miserable as a result of "inmate justice".

This is the reason that this is becoming more and more common.... if it had been my child, he'd have never seen court either. Criminals now have more rights than victims... it's only cruel and unusual punishment if it's not usual enough. Our legal system is now a joke. People on death row for 20 years.... or waiting over 2 years to even go to trial... complete BS.

She's my hero. What's so great is he died slowly, as she had to reload. He knew full well he was being executed for his disgusting crimes. Perfect Justice for scumbags.

He got what he deserved!! Being a victim myself, and now having children, I wouldnt think twice about doing something like that if someone hurt my child..You get more jail time for fighting dogs than hurting a child..sad, sad world!!! Coy wouldnt of done any jail time anyways if he wasnt killed, he'd be out hurting other young girls!! Makes me sick!!!!!

As a survivor of sexual abuse, I don't see any winners when it comes to a crime such as this. I was only 3 when I was abused. Had my father or mother been told the $^%&* would have been executed the same way, no questions asked. There was more than one perpatrator. I do not condone killing but I do not convict Kimberly, she was a mother who faced a horrible person who had no remorse for what he did to her daughter. Had he confessed and served time, he might be still alive. He chose to mock a mother who was horribly shaken by a vicious and unthinkable crime. I think of movies such as The Prince of Tides and A Time to Kill and see that no one wins in sexual abuse crimes. In both movies the perpetrators were killed and the parents did not go to jail. I feel that Kimberly in her mode of to protect her child unconciously killed Coy to protect her child from harm, nothing more, nothing less. Coy lost his life because of his crime and his assitude towards the situation. Put yourself in her shoes. Would you go to any length necessary to protect your child, even if it meant taking a life? Kim seems very remorseful over this whole thing and that is punishment enough for her. Her daughter will have to deal with the abuse from Coy for the rest of her life. I have a hard time feeling sympathy for Coy. His attitude would have gotten him to that point no matter if it was Kimberly or someone else.

I'm sorry her daughter got raped but she should have went to the cops. If the cops refused to do anything, then thats when she should have took the law in her own hands. Sorry but Kimberly Cunningham should have been given more than 4 years. She should have been given atleast 10. Had it been her daughter that did the shooting instead, then I would be more sympathetic. I don't no if anyone is familiar with Stacey Lannert but she killed her father because he raped and molested her for years but yet shes been locked up since 1990. If Kimberly Cunningham got this short sentence, Stacey should be free. She was a minor when it happend buts shes still locked up.

Come back and comment if someone abuses your child. Until then you sound foolish.
