As we know, the DVD’s multichannel audio adopt the DTS or AC3 format. The Bit Rate of AC3 is 448kbps, and the DTS’s Bit Rate even reaches 1536kbps. All these make the DVD audio more realistic and rich. Let’s say you are a Mac user and dead keen on a sound in some DVD episodes, so you want to extract the audio from the DVD-V for iTunes, iPhone, iPod or other MP3 players. Here i will explain you two ways to rip the audio data (DTC/AC3) on a DVD to a MP3 containing all 6 surround tracks on Mac OS X.
