What's McCarthy going to do with the million stockholders who are saying the same things? Mike McCarthy and Ted Thompson better worry about the team instead of the maintanance workers.

Wow, they fire a guy who has been with Packer organization for 20 years because of a stupid comment? I doubt it was THAT offensive. This is prolly not going to go over very well with the fans in today's economy. Give the guy a warning, he has definitely earned some sort of respect working for the team for 20 years. Would be interesting to hear what he really said.

People need to get fired. However, firing a maintenance worker is not going to solve the Packers problems.

The first time we see McCarthy get tough and it merely results in the firing of a long time Packer employee that apparently did his job well. If McCarthy would ever get tough on the players perhaps we would see fewer penalties and missed assignments.

Packer management has turned the Packers into a team that rarely makes the playoffs. In addition, Packer Management is out of touch with the desires, beliefs and values of the average Packer fan. Enough is enough.

As usual, they fired the wrong guy...!
The ones who should be fired for accepting wages under false pretenses are Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy, neither of which have done a good enough job to keep their wages.. A Private Owner would have shit canned both of them by now. I have to wonder who they're sleeping with to keep their jobs. Maybe each other..?

Ah yes! Let's go after "the little guy"! Oh, well, he shouldn't have made the comment. Yeah, riiiiiiiiiight! Like he wasn't making that comment without some justified concerns?? What would be nice would be to see "the little guy" returned to work and to see The Three Stooges drop kicked right out of the parking lot!! How 'bout if NO Packer Fans attend this coming game on Sunday, so that way the only fans there are Cowboy fans! Would that send home a message? Ah, probably not! You all were so great in the Booing caper when Favre returned to play, surely the fans could stay out of the stadium to prove a point! Nah!

I would like to see some WE WANT WOODY BACK signs. Or a WE WANT WOODY BACK chant when McCarthy comes on the field. I am betting the signs would be taken away at the gate. But the chant would be hard to stop. And some BOOing of McCarthy too. The Org. has started to show no class. I know fans should be better than that . But it is time to show the org. we are sick of the things going on.

Umm we aren't fair weather fans here. We love the Packers and that is why we are concerned. Simply not showing up and "disowning" the packers for a week, while it may make a statement, would put us as packer fans below the pond scum that is MM and TT

This stockholder says good! He deserved to be fired. Every employee knows or should know what is expected by his employer in terms of correct behavior. Mike said he had nothing to do with it and I believe him. Ted's name was never even mentioned in connection with any of this. Sounds to me you are not even a Packer fan.

Had nothing to do with it. Well Jerry going to the guys boss and asking who he was is having somthing to do with it. Do you think the boss told MM his name and left it at that. NO he more than likely ask why. And then MM told him the story. So yes the big baby MM couldn,t handle it . And did have alot to do with it.

Jerry,
I am a stock holder and I say TT and MM are a disgrace to the team, the fans and the stockholders. Who could ever believe anything that comes out of their mouths??? No this stockholder!!

4ever green; what the hell are you writing about anyway; this story is over a week old and really who cares. I suspect you are part of that group calling for TT/MM heads. Why; we're 6-4 and starting to play better. MM/Capers have made the necessary corrections to account for the team's weak areas. We just beat two quality teams to the nay sayers who said we haven't beaten a quality team; they don't post much of late. Actually, with the team winning you also don't see many say we need to fire TT/MM. I'm sure when we lose our next game, those folks will start up again; pretty shallow for true fans of the team. Now, I hope you aren't in that group still living in the past with #4. He's having a good year, but I don't give a shit; Rodgers is our guy for the next ten years. One more thing; if the team finishes at least 8-8, neither TT/MM are going anywhere so either get over it, or find another team to root for.

I think you are the one that needs to be asked what the hell are you writing about. You said the Packers just beat two quality teams...hmmm lets see. They beat the Cowboys, who are free falling and again struggled to score 7 points against a horrible Redskins team. And they beat the 49er's who have lost 6 of their last 8 games. Just who are the quality teams that they have beat?

And you seem pleased to state that if the Packers go 8-8 MM and TT are not going anywhere. I have to ask why you would be ok with that? I just can't understand why there is such a rabid defense by some "fans" of TT and MM. Why would you keep supporting them, in the midst of failure. Why is scraping for the lowest wild card the best goal you have set for them and this team?

And it seems like you were the one to bring up Favre again. It seems like the better Favre and the Vikings are doing the more insane you TT and MM sheep are getting. Favre is a better QB than Rodgers, that is very obvious, but Rodgers is all we have. That was a decision made by TT and MM. Are you still defending TT and MM based solely on their decision to get rid of Favre???? I can't think of any other reason why you keep defending them so vehemently...are they relatives of yours?

Well, I guess I just don't get it. Hopefully there are some people in the Packer's organization that can still think with a clear mind, and will make the right decision once the season is over.

We need to fire Ted Thompson. The Packers have only made the playoffs once since he arrived in Green Bay. The Packers are 38-38 under his mismanagement. The Packers can and should hire a much better GM. How many times do you need the facts recited before they sink in to that thick melon of yours? One or two wins will not miraculously convert TT into a success.

If Packer President, Mark Murhy, is too stupid to get rid of the losing and failure by firing TT he will need to be fired also.

If the Packers win their next game, I'm sure you will start up again. Don't bother. One game will not erase five years of mostly losing and failure.
