I can not believe that anyone would even call that art. Not even Mr. Cox, the homeowner. That is just gotty. Or however you spell that word. Basically, it is just crap. It looks tacky and it is making the town look like crap. That is why some places have a homeowners association, to avoid that. It looks like a freakshow or something. At least have some taste if you are going to decorate. How pathetic. I am not from here and have been to Arizona, and citizens of Arizona dont and wouldn't even do such crap there. He should not even mention Arizona or California in his article, he is making them look bad as well. The poor kids at the Little league field shouldnt even be subjected to looking at it while playing ball. I wish I could run my vehicle into all of it. Ok, I feel better now that I got that off of my chest. Maybe if it is such GREAT are he can put it in the arts depot, or William King Art Center. Not in his front yard. I bet the kids at Abingdon Elementary could do better art than that. The kindergarten class to be exact.

well, i believe it is an interesting take on art and decoration, besides abingdon is so stuffy, it is nice to see a free thinker in the town. if the folks in abingdon would stop trying to be something they are not then it would be a much better place to live. face it the whole town is hillbilly and redneck like the rest of southwest virginia.

So this guy's yard is one big eyesore, huh? We had a neighbor once that used toilets as planters. Try looking at a bunch of blooming toilets everyday.

If you are not a hillbilly or a redneck, then why are you here? Why don't you go to some city somewhere where you will not be subjected to such trash as you think people here are?

The place is a complete mess. Abingdon is so all about being a nice place to live, they don't even allow colored Christmas lights in the historical district. So why are they allowing this shitty mess?

I LIKE IT, ART IS A WAY OF EXPRESSING YOURSELF, SO I SAY MORE POWER TO HIM> Also if it is not hurting anyone then what's the problem. Oh yea, I forgot this is stuffy Abingdon we are talking about where the money is old and anything that does not kiss the fogie's rear is unwanted (i.e. Walmart etc..) Live and let live folks.
