In UK, God Plays Second Fiddle to the Supernatural

Full story: naturalplane.blogspot.com

While 54 per cent of people believe in God, 58 per cent believe in the supernatural. Researchers found women were more likely to believe in the supernatural than men, and were more likely to visit a medium. Nearly a quarter of the 3,000 questioned by researchers claimed they had an encounter with the paranormal.

I'll believe one of these con artists is a psychic when then can correctly give me the lottery numbers for the next day. They can ask the dead, the wind, mother earth, or whoever for the numbers if they want to. I'll pay them after I win. They need to pay me for any tickets that don't pan out.

Someone could say the same thing about god.

Give me the lottery numbers or give back all that tithing.

Funny how NO psychic ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD saw ANYTHING on September 10, 2001.

Let alone predicting lottery numbers.

The James Randi Educational Foundation has offered $1,000,000 to anyone that can prove supernatural or paranormal power. They call it the $1,000,000 challenge.

Here is the chance for all those psychics to get rich!

No, just the US' own Presidential Daily Briefing books - lied about by Rice - the CIA and multiple foreign intelligence agencies. At least in fairly specific terms, if not exactly.

People like those hijackers, and even al queda and bin Laden in the "good old days," have a web of contacts with Western spooks.

If you actually talk to people who have corresponded with him about this challenge you will have no trouble finding many that consider him as disingenuous and as much of a charlatan as the worst "psychics."

You could start with the editors of "Stereophile" magazine, for example.

I looked this up and really couldn't find anything. The only thing I found was something about hearing the difference between two cables. Not all the psychic in my opinion.

My spouse subscribed to stereophile for many years, from what I understand the magazine is based on subjective opinions about how different equipment sounds.

What psychic thing has someone done that they have not been paid for by the James Randi Educational Foundation? I'm not defending him. If he is a con man, let the light shine on him. I'd love to see it. I'm looking forward to getting that winning lottery ticket!

Randi has had various challenges. As part of this he became disingenuous with certain writers at "Stereophile." You are correct that particular discussion had nothing to do with psychic phenomena. It does, however, to my satisfaction, reveal Randi to be as much of a charlatan as any store front psychic.

My only mention of lottery numbers was to ask, in turn, by your post's same logic, why god won't provide someone the numbers. And if he can't, following your post, then all those fundieraisers can return the all the tithing.

I changed my name just for you.

I've tried to post a reply to the above comment twice. It keeps on disappearing into cyberspace. It must be those psychics blocking me from posting. Maybe it was God.

If a psychic is looking into the future, I'm just asking that they look into the newspaper for the winning lottery numbers. Is that asking too much? lol

And I've been saying by the same tenets that if god won't do the same then these churches should return all the tithing.

In other words, your expectations are absurd.

And you're ignorant of Randi the charlatan, imo.
